Hey--

Last Week's BDSM video was almost instantly age gated and suppressed as soon as I uploaded it. Like I got the email notifying me 2 minutes before I even finished making the Patreon post for the video's release. The age gate has now been removed for the moment, but that is part of the risk involved in covering this type of content and why the support of you all is so important.

This week I'm going to check back and see which of the new Patreons of 2021 are the most popular. Given the nature of the system, it is unlikely that there will be much change before the end of the year. I will, however, check and make sure of the final rankings in my year end "Best of 2021" video.

We also have episode 100 this week. I keep counting and recounting my videos so I don't screw this up, but if I do this right episode 100 should be right after Top New Patreons of 2021. Stupid math...

I did toss in the Lesson of Passion remake of Living With Temptation 1 as an additional review last week. It came out on Steam sooner than I expected, but I'd already done all of the prep work and I was just waiting to play the new version. Do you all like the idea of reviews of new Steam releases? The video didn't get many views, but that may be because the game is not reviewing well on Steam. Let me know either way!

This Week:

  • Finish Releasing Last Week's Videos
  • Top New Patreons of 2021
  • Episode 100
  • Milky Touch

I hope everyone has an awesome week!

I don't use STEAM at all. Would you be reviewing new Steam releases that a person could not get through the usual outlets?

So when I cover Steam releases I try to also list other distribution platforms like Patreon and Itch.io There are as well other platforms that I have started mentioning but have not gone so far as to add links yet. In general there are few titles that only release on Steam. Well except for Japanese ports. I have sometimes mentioned Jast and Mangagamer, but I have to be VERY, VERY careful because of content concerns.

Maybe mini reviews in a single video covering recent releases for a week or month similar to your Steam releases coverage and more in-depth reviews for particularly interesting releases.

That's a pretty good idea. The real problem is new Patreon releases. There are so many interesting new games that we get a few builds of and never see anything ever again. I worry about getting you all excited about games where we are likely to never see further progress or development.
