Hey--

I hope everyone is doing great. This is going to be a longer post and there will be a follow up video based on your replies that I'll release on Sunday as part of the monthly Patron video.

So with school back in session, I'm not sure that the MWF release schedule will continue. I still plan on three releases a week, but I wanted to talk to you all about what you want to see most.

Over the last 6 months I've used a release schedule of game reviews on Monday and Friday with some type of list or flavor coming out on Wednesday. I've occasionally added in more "in-depth" videos like the OnlyFans and NTR ones that you seem to like the most. The problem is that these videos take much, much longer to research and vet than the standard review and list videos.

I still owe a conclusion to the trainer genre, but I'm completely prohibited about talking about the most impactful training games of all time that actually changed the industry. I'm also currently working on the Futanari Origins video. Heck the only reason that I was able to get out the OnlyFans video in three days was because I had done most of the prep research months ago as part of a different project.

I understand that there are channels that take the content in one of my 10 minute videos, inflate it to 30 minutes through repetition and fluff and only release once a month. That is not what I want to do, but I do probably need to give myself more time to properly research these more in depth videos. That is the danger of multidisciplinary works: there is a ton of room for misinterpretation or just being wrong without taking the time to be careful.

I would like your feedback on the OnlyFans video as well. Did you feel it was well researched? Do you want to see more of this type of content, or should I stick more to games and flavors? I mean you don't have to give feedback on this if you don't want to, but I do love hearing suggestions and advice from all of you.

This week will see two more releases in addition to Tuesday's Breeder's of the Nephelym review. Once I hear back from you all about your suggestions, I will reach out to the YouTube community as well and make some type of announcement next week.

This Week:

Thursday

  • The Top 15 AO Android Games on Patreon

Saturday

  • The Sakura Games Series

I hope everyone has an awesome week and I look forward to hearing from all of you!

I also loved your OnlyFans video. Your willingness to go the extra mile and put so much effort into the research is one of the things that make you stand out so much. I find these videos that discuss not just particulkar games, but broader topics and "game-adjacent" stuff to be immensely interesting and I am all for more of them in the future, provided this is something you want to pursue of course.

I really like doing them, but I feel really bad at how long they take. I started the OnlyFans piece on Thursday afternoon. The BBC announced that evening (my time, like 2am theirs) and while I was prepared for the announcement, it still took some modification to the story. I worked all day Friday and into Saturday morning. I recorded and published around 4pm on Saturday. So it took three solid days of work to research, record, and publish the video even with the information I already had in hand. I now understand why most YouTube "news" type videos are just reading press releases and regurgitating information. Being first gets a lot more views than being accurate.

Hey Annie, As a game developer I have to say that content like the Onlyfans and NTR videos interest me more. I find them really on point and smart, the research you do and the way you present things is the main reason I am a patron. But I also enjoy your game "reviews" and flavors. I would suggest split the time and make like 1/3 in-depth stuff 2/3 more easy to create content so you can manage everything and not burnout! Lots of love, Jim

Thanks for the advice. That seems fair. I'd just have to figure out how that looks from a scheduling standpoint.
