Weekly Update (Patreon)

Hey--

Sorry about the delays on the YouTube comments. I was away on vacation with my family. This week is going to be heavier with content with 4 YouTube releases and the monthly Patron video. I'm going to stick with the "answer some questions and share my planning thoughts" format.

Part 2 of the History of the Trainer should be done this week and I am shooting for a Friday release. My current plan for this week is:

  • Monday: CUSTOM ORDER MAID 3D2 It's a Night Magic
  • Tuesday: College Kings
  • Wednesday: New to Steam in July
  • Wednesday: Monthly Patreon Video
  • Friday: History of the Trainer Part 2

So I really do like the more in depth videos, but they take way more time to research and script. I would really like to do one on the Persona series in July. 

I am worried that given the ages of the characters in Persona talking about the vast amount of sexual content in the series could be a problem. I get that while this is totally legal in Japan, it is not in alignment with current US and EU laws. Let me know what you think in the next day or two and I'll talk about my thoughts in the monthly Patreon Video on Wednesday.

Also any questions you all want specifically answered?

I Imagine it would be allowed, it just wouldn’t be monetizeable. Perhaps make it a Patreon exclusive video? Or do a promo video for it, with a link to the full vid in Dropbox or Google Drive?

I could just go all out with a title like: "Persona 5 and Adolescent Sex" I am fine with demonetization. Most of my videos are. I have a specific idea that I want to talk about and like the previous "other" videos, I think it is not what people will expect.

Hope you had a lovely time on your vacation. I always think you should make the content you want and not worry about youtube. There is no way to know for sure what they will be ok with. Make the videos that interest you and let the rest work itself out.

Thanks! I do worry about suspensions however. I don't really have anyone to vet my ideas and content other than my parents, so sometimes (like with "Mass Effect and Consent" and "Flavor of the Week: Trans Optional Characters") I am surprised about the pushback.

I know its a popular series, even tho I have never played them. I assume there is plenty of content about the game on youtube already. If you can discuss it without making their ages a factor I can see youtube not caring. But as I said, who knows what they will choose to care about on any given day. Also I envy your relationship with your parents. The idea of talking about any of this stuff with my own parents seems absolutely insane to me :P
