Congrats on 50K! Good to know that RDR2 is your favourite game (though that was a very roundabout way to say so). On the subject of objectivity: You want to avoid what you like and dislike when talking about videogames to stay neutral, and that's a noble goal. But since games are art and art is subjective, I'm not convinced that it is the most useful lens. I think it sometimes makes your reviews more dry than they need to be (innuendo not intended). Anyway, I love what you do, Annie! 50k is only the start, I'm sure of it.

Favorites are difficult. My avoidance in reviews is not about the artistic merit of games. The extra layer of complexity and nuance that flavors represent is something that we don't really have to navigate when reviewing mainstream videogames. That said, I agree that there is a lot of room for my continued personal growth. Thanks!
