A days work in polymer clay (Patreon)

New patrons may be unaware, but I also sculpt and make charms for keychains/jewelry. Usually I sculpt food or animals, but I’ve seen a lot of people at the art show I sell at turn their nose up at such works because they’re apparently too childish. I for one believe anyone of any age can enjoy a cute sculpture, but nevertheless I’ve been trying to make more “adult” designs that look like things like rocks or gems.

September is incredibly slow at the aforementioned art show, as it usually is in tourist towns like mine, so with this week being Labor Day weekend, I decided to put together one more set or charms for the occasion. This is that set, hand sculpted and painted by yours truly, as usual, each containing real gold and silver leaf.

Wish me luck. Even if I have a good night of sales, I plan on putting these and the rest of my stock up for sale online via my Instagram, because I’ve got a lot of leftover charms.
