Special Boys [WIP] (Patreon)

This year, I'm going to try and draw more for myself, whether that be fanart, oc's, one-offs, whatever.

But it doesn't have to be new year to make a change for the better, right? And I've been DYING to do more Akira art for YEARS.

So, before I jump straight into doing a massive illustration for my favorite movie and number one artistic inspiration, here are some loose little capsule gang cheebs I plan on turning into merch. Yamagata's getting one, too-- his sketch just isn't done yet. The background colors aren't final, btw-- they're mostly there as a guide.

The plan is to color them with paint pens to give them a smooth graphic art style while still being traditional, but we'll see what happens-- I've definitely set out to do something like that before and just defaulted to digital.
