Papillons [PYP sketch] (Patreon)

Sorry for the lack of art this week. I was out all day on Tuesday, and spent most of yesterday editing a video I’m working on.

This month, Papillons and Heart on Wave tied for the “Draw that Song 2” prompt. I’m thinking I’ll do a sketch for both, and if I do, I’ll let you guys vote on which gets finished first. I’ll bet this one looks super odd, but I plan on putting her floating above earth with some space butterflies. Figured I’d try to give it an eighties anime screenshot aesthetic while I was at it. Feels so strange to draw Kanin— or any of my characters, really— in a moe shoujo style where a majority of characters look the same. I’m always worried about same-face-syndrome, so forcing my characters into these usual molds feels... off. Maybe it’s just me, lol.
