Day 1 - Robin (Patreon)

Going with Robin/Grima for day one!

I'm going to use this first one as a blog.

First character was going to be someone else until I realized the final result was either going to be rushed or not finished. I opted to give up and shift gears to another piece.

It's all good lessons to learn though because now I know what I can and can not do in a day time frame. I'll be returning to the first character later today, but if I feel I need more time on it then I'll switch to something like this instead.

I said I'm going to keep the colors flat but shading really didn't take as much time as I expected, so I'll keep doing it.

Practice makes perfect! Hopefully by the end of the month I'll be one step closer.

Also noting that I'd still like to paint Grima in the future. I want to paint her in a more dominating position but this one felt doable within a day.
