Hiya guys, TAD here, back again, once again! Today, I have with me a general update when it comes to Dragoness Desires. So, where are we when it comes to development, when can y'all expect the demo and what will happen after?

So, when it comes to development, most of the ground work has been done. Most, if not all animations have been created. I've shown most prominent animations already with my Patrons, but those I haven't shown yet I will show right here:

The idle animation of Jeni. She's the captain of the royal guard and serves as the tutorial guide if you want to git gud. Of course, the tutorial is completely optional, but will be present.

She also has this pretty cool electric ball attack that serves as a parry-able in the tutorial. As you may know, or not, Jeni will be the second character you can face in Dragoness Desires. Right after the demo has been completed, we'll be working on her next!

We also have part of the environment here! Which are roses on the platforms where you fight Amalynth opening up. They can shoot seed bombs, which is one of Amalynth's special attack!

We also have this cute dancing flower that works in your favor as a trampoline!

And here's another special attack, which are spiky thorns thrusting up. They have three different heights, so they work in a sort of a wavy pattern in the game and track where the player is currently at. These spikes are all underneath the ground of the battle area!

So that's it when it comes to animations! Lucky, my coder and partner in crime, is finalizing the battle script for Amalynth. She needs to have a behavioral tree for how she attacks the player and that's been pretty tough to get right. Once that's up and running, we have enough to start play testing the battle, which is hopefully something that happens in February!

Other than that, we're still missing some assets. We still need some backgrounds, including the map of the overworld. We need a lot of UI assets, as we basically have nothing there yet. We do have a lot of sound effects already, but we're still missing a few. Then there's music. We have some Royalty Free music, but we figured to get some custom music specifically for the game as well.

I did find someone, but this person is currently unable to finish the commission and it's uncertain if he'll be able to in the foreseeable future, so that's something that's still very unsure.

Other than that, we have everything. With all this in mind, we hope to have the demo ready in March, but it'll most likely be April. If you're my Patron, you're able to play the demo a month earlier before it's released publicly!

Don't worry for anybody who isn't. The demo will be completely free to play. However, if you support us, you'll be able to play any updates after the demo immediately when they're done. We won't be releasing the game until it's done, but Patrons can continuously play the game whenever a new character is added and functional.

I hope y'all are excited as I am! :D

That's it for now, have a good weekend and I'll hope to see y'all soon!
