Hiya guys, TAD here, back again, once again! It is Saturday once more, and since I've shown off all of the new felines, I figured it's time to dive a little bit deeper into the new mini-games. So, what can you expect and what do they look like?

Currently, y'all are familiar with the Wood and the Rope mini-games to gather items and unlock new paths within a feline's dialogue tree. Well, these mini-games revolve around the same principles. They're fairly simple point and click / accuracy games that give you an item when you complete them!

For starters, we have the Magic Book mini-game:

The idea is simple, chase the book over the screen and click it three times.

However, when you do, dark magical bubbles float over the screen. Avoid these and you should be golden!

Another mini-game is a mining one, where you have to find a sapphire:

You have two tools you can use to mine, a pickaxe, which mines one square, but goes three layers deep at once:

Or a hammer, which hits multiple squares, but removes just a layer:

Try to find the sapphire and unearth it completely before you've hit too many squares!

Hitting too many squares will cause a rockslide, undoing your process and making you do it all over again.

Then, finally, I wanted to show off one more mini-game today. This one is fairly simple:

Follow the arrow combination given on top of the screen. You can either use your arrow keys or the arrows provided on screen. There's a time limit and you'll have to correctly input all of the combinations on screen before the time runs out. This will give you a topaz!

There are still a few more mini-games I'd like to show off next week to round all of it up! As a bonus, I'd like to show you guys the redraws of all these background locations you see here:

Here's the original location called Rainbow Waterfalls

And here's the redrawn version.

Same for Crescent Bay:

Here's the original.

And this one is the redrawn variant!

You know the most awesome part about these locations? They're actually visible on the overworld map!

Excuse the messy UI, we're in the middle of changing it around. But it's a minor detail I absolutely adore! You can clearly see the rainbow waterfall and the crescent shaped bay on the map. :3

And that's all for this week! Next week I'm back to show off the final mini-games that will be implemented on Northern! See y'all then, stay safe! <3
