Update + Blair's SFW sketches (Patreon)

Hi guys, TAD here and I am back! First off, I want to give you guys an update on where we are exactly when it comes to finishing Northern Ruby Island. I have some good news and some bad news on that regard.

Let's start with the bad news first: my writing partner in crime, Vehlek, who did all the F/F dialogue, has expressed her wishes not to continue with the game after all, since she wants to focus on more personal projects and is therefore not taking any commissions. This means that for the moment, I have nobody who can finish the F/F trees for me. This is particularly jarring for me because she has a very unique and lively style to her dialogue. I don't think anybody might be able to replicate that and it will take away from the experience for sure. I'll be honest, I have no idea how to fix this problem for now. It sucks, but there's nothing I can do, sadly. It means that I have to make a choice and see if anybody else might want to do it, but I'm afraid it might not be as well written as when Vehlek does it.

Now that we have that out of the way, the good news is that Tir has rewritten nearly all of the game's inner coding to avoid bugs and make it easier to implement new stuff. That means that once all the art and dialogue is done, getting it ready to be tested should take a lot quicker!

He also edited the wood and rope mini-games to make them go on infinitely. That's right, if you want, you can see how far you can come (if you like that sort of thing). Otherwise, you can always quit after three attempts. I'll share the new updated mini-games later!

I'm still working on Blair's dialogue. I'm hoping to finish her between now and two weeks. Then I can focus on Luna, meaning we're almost halfway there with the dialogue trees already!

For her neutral pose, I've chosen one where she's sitting on her haunches and looking somewhat eager.

Then her happy expression. I love the inclusion of those little pluses. I don't know if my artist did it to match the Soul Eater style, but it fits! :3

This one is Blair being excited, but it can also be interpreted as 'realizing she has been figured out.' I love it when you can use one expression in multiple ways.

Then finally, I had to include one where she's embarrassed. ;3
