What kind of sparkly tokens would you like to see? (Patreon)

Hey all! :D

As you might have noticed, the tiers 20 and higher now come with free metallic sparkly tokens!

Now that that is working out, I wanted to ask! What would you prefer for the sparkly tokens! Staples? Rarer ones (like the Marit Lage last month)? Maybe a full color one from time to time?

Staples! Definetily. I want my board to shine more often then not... I also need to "up" my level of contribution...

Hi Hannes, thanks for the post. Yes, definitely agree with Luis. Staples would really make the battlefield more beautiful. But, from time to time, a full coloured one or a rarer one would be awesome!

The Marit Lage token is awesome! I think tokens that you normally only have one out at a time would be good, because normally we're only going to have one of theses tokens. Marit Lage makes sense. Any other Legendary tokens, like the elemental that Nissa makes...Ashaya I think? I would just tilt a little if I put out three goblin tokens where one was a shiny one and the others were normal. I might not even want to play it. The Marit Lage, sure, only one at a time anyway.

I love the new sparkly tokens, but I'd definitely like to see more staple-y types. My top 3 would be Angel, Squirrel, or Elf Warrior.

Full colour ones would be awesome, and I'm with Daniel in thinking that tokens you generally only ever have one or two of would be preferable

Got to agree with Daniel, the rarer tokens that you usually only need one or two of. Would be happy with full colour ones as well. Something else that might be really good and different, would be Planeswalker Emblems

Angel 4/4 for Geist, Maybe Gideon Ally Emblem? */* Elemental. Storm/Poison counter token etc. Like Daniel said it seems best to use it for stuff that there's one or few of. So no Elemental or Goblin 1/1 etc.

Staples I think, so I can show off my bling. Wurms, Thopters, Pentavites, Zombies, Squirrels, Beasts, Green Insects with Flying and Deathtouch, Saprolings etc.

Actually if there is one token that I would love to see in one of the monthly packages is the */* Elemental Token from Voice of Resurgence!

How about a recently spoiled Energy Token that we can use to track counters? Even if it's just a token that we can put a D6 on I'll be happy. Otherwise I'd love to see some more stuff from the recent standard.. Some Emblems would be pretty awesome too. =\

Agree with a full-color option every now and then, with rare/unique tokens (for example 4/4 Elemental 'Ashaya, the Awoken World' - would probably make an awesome full-color sparkly). As a side note: Beasts always make me happy too, as I use them a lot...

Full color would be awesome! Please make that happen. I would recommend making patreon exclusive sparkly token arts that are full art. The black and white look cool and all but i feel like it's not taking full advantage of the sparkliness of the tokens. I have your angel tokens from your EDH and MM kickstarters and i love playing them. The soldiers, while cool, dont catch my eye all that much.

I feel like staples are better, so I can USE these sparkly tokens more often. This month, my dream token would be a Servo on one side and a Thopter on the other.

You can probably expect what I'm going to say! =p I'd absolutely kill for a sparkly Elf Warrior lady, I use that more than everything else combined. I've mentioned it before, but it would be really great if we knew what was coming in advance, so we can upgrade for a month. I can't sustain $20 a month, but I can and will splash to it every so often if the sparkly token catches my eye!

I'd love to see more full color ones. It'd be nice to see some of your other non-mtg art on Tokens as well.

As a WB Tokens player, I'd say Spirit (white), Fairy Rogue (black), Sorin's Vampire (black, 2/2 with fly), Gideon's Ally Knight and white Soldier (1/1). 😬
