Hello :D As you might have noticed :D We reached our stretch goal for exclusive tokens :D

This means that! I'll get to work designing them probably next week! I'm currently finishing up a bunch of work for Wizards of the Coast (teehee if you guys knew what we're working on! :DDD ) and then I'll get right to it!

In the meantime I'd like to hear some opinions from you guys, since the exclusive tokens will be just that - exclusively for Patreon.

First is the design. There's two options here, one is the current design, the second is like that limited GP Vancouver Monk that a few of you might have gotten randomly - basically with an image box that is a bit lower with a neat little frame beneath for text that could say Patreon exclusive. My question here is, would you want that? It'd definitely make it feel more exlusive, but it'd mean a bit less image space and a brand name on an otherwise clean token. This is absolutely your call.

Second, I'd really like to know which direction you guys enjoy the most - the cute stuff? The intricate ones with a lot of tiny details? More gritty things? A mix? Let me know which tokens you enjoy the most and I will be able to make the exclusive ones right on your guys' taste.

Thank you so much for the support, and thanks for any input too! :D

All the best

Hannes

Hi Hannes, I haven't received my first package yet, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I'm just going off of the pictures on the site. 1) I don't feel much need for a Patreon Exclusive box. I like having a nice large, picture (they're all beautiful, by the way) and easy-to-read Name and Power/Toughness. If you want to have a special badge for the Patreon supporters maybe you could find room for a little "PE" shield somewhere in a corner or something? I don't know, just an idea. 2) I like them all, and I like that there's some variety. I'm always a sucker for cuteness, especially since the official Magic tokens don't go that route. I love the ghost coming out of the grave saying "Boo" that you did. But I also appreciate the more dramatic art on the angels, for example. Personally I'm always one to let the artist follow where the inspiration leads. Thanks for doing this! David

I will be ok with the current design :D I mean I will know it was Patreon exclusive so I don't mind not even it on it if we get more space for your awesome art ;) As for the second question... certainly intricate! I love all the flavor and details that the intricate tokens have (e.g. Angels!)

I enjoy the mixture of elements, would be nice for some gritty ones too. Also, pleeeease do a Marit Lage token...I would be forever grateful! ;)

Excellent work Hannes! 1. Personally I am more for gritty stuff and much less for cute but with that said I really like the blended package. Zombies is a non cute zone for me but a grim zombie that comes along with a cute animal of any kind, all god. 2. I plan to keep sending you money as long as you keep sending tokens so something special for the reached goals would be sweet in a collection. Keep it up!!! / Johan

Firstly- congratulations on reaching the stretch goal. Secondly- 1) I dont really have a preference. I like David's suggestion of putting something small that indicates it is a patreon token. It doesn't have to be obvious, but just something you can recognize. 2) I like the mixture of different things. I like the intricate but strange goats, the cute funny ghosts, etc. Looking forward to the next batch, Ebon

Hi, Hannes I would like tokens with the new box, in a new fresh colors may be red or blue, just an idea. Female angels are so cute. Golems and thopters can be a field for inspiration. But also, I would like to see some funny tokens, like goats or plants. But I'll spend my money anyway, ur arts are so freaking cool. Keep working! Thx 4 reading, Igor.

Huge congrats on reaching your goal! :D I liked the placement on the Monk ones, with a limited number count. Of course, you can always make a small Patreon symbol in the corner to give you more space for art (like David suggested). Not sure how limited you are in budget, but you could also make it a foil symbol, emboss it, or even have an entire foil card, as the exclusive. As far as the art, I love the mixture of detailed and cute drawings! (the snake one!! ;w;) If you ever run out of ideas, maybe have some with limited color (blue/black zombie token, etc.). What if you did ones themed to their corresponding holiday month? For example, October, the tokens are Halloween themed. Or maybe seasonal themed? Just some ideas. Can't wait to see what you do next! (:

Awesome suggestions! Yes as we go I'll look into more and more different ways to make this more and more special - I'm learning new things with every wave :)

I'm so excited!

I think Nicole had a great idea with holiday themed tokens. It would make each month special and be a pretty cool Patreon exclusive.
