I put THE NOVICE on the back burner a while back because A: I'd hit a snag in the script, and B: there was a panel that I just couldn't get past.  Then, a few weeks ago, I managed to solve the scripting problem, and today I think THE NOVICE script is 100% done!  I even had a couple fun bonus comic ideas!  So to celebrate, I knocked out this image.  Needs a few touches, but I'm happy.

I feel like I've been neglecting DevArt lately, so I think I'll post this there next week, along with the Ellie sketch.  Gotta let everyone know I'm still alive. :)
