…okay, break time is over! Back to work! Whew…apparently I needed a rest. ^^; I come back to you now, healthier and wiser, with a somewhat more manageable schedule.

My roommate Mel, who is a published comic artist, had me walk her through my entire my work schedule and doesn’t know how I’ve managed to keep my momentum up to now. The webcomic workflow of a weekly page when I’m trying to create higher quality images for the “fancy scenes” is enough to wear out anyone. And I’m not one of those fancy art school graduates that can knock out a page in an afternoon (although, she is). Basically, I’ve been aiming for comic book quality on a comic strip schedule. She’s suggesting I treat this more like a traditional book, get the work done in proper steps, then start releasing it in larger portions. I’m not sure how I feel about this change, but I’m willing to give it a month and see how it goes (but I still want a new page this week).

Mail club packs are finally on the move! I’ve broken the first mailing into two sets. First batch went out yesterday, the rest will go out in the next day or so. :)

Okay…lunch break is over, time to get back to it! Have a great week, everyone!

That's smart do it in monthly pages similar to stejpan sejic and sunstone.

Maybe you could build a backlog of strip and then release them one by one. It would mean no strip for a few weeks (maybe months) for you to build it up, then you are good to go.

As much as I love your comic, I'm with Mel on this one. Take care of yourself because you deserve to get joy from this project. I know I do and want you to avoid feeling burnt out.

Sounds like a good idea. You really do put your heart and soul into this, don't let it burn you out

Do what works for you, but do try and avoid burnout
