...we’re starting off strong! We got two pages up last week and we’ll have a third one going up this week! Things are gonna start escalating as the final chapter of part one begins.

Will be posting some $5 exclusives soon as I want to finalized some sticker designs. I’m also going to have some GR sketches to share as the next page finally comes together.

I finally watched Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame! Yeah, I’m that guy. I tend to skip out on the final chapter of films and books, because I tend to find them disappointing. So my thoughts (SPOILERS AHEAD)...Infinity War is probably the best of the Marvel films. I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. Endgame was good, but...they made some weird choices in that film. It felt like a missed opportunity. The final epic battle was kinda boring, with little to no give or take. Never once worried that any of the avengers were in danger. I guess you could say that the battle lacked...Balance. ;) There were some great moments though, like Cap picking up Thor’s hammer. Hated what they did with Thor, hulk and Black Widow. Still, it had a satisfying, bittersweet ending to both Cap and Tony’s story arcs, so I can’t complain too much. Also, Thor teaming up with the guardians of the galaxy? Sign me up!

But what about you? Do you have a favorite marvel film or character?

Alright, lunch break is done, let’s draw some comics! Have a great week everyone!

thor ragnarok is probably my favorite. It was a nice break from the other ones in terms of tone (although it has its share of heavy moments). And always love myself some Jeff Goldblume.

I think we've seen the last of good marvel movies. They have too much involvement from Disney now.

Infinity War is the best Marvel movie, but it also benefitted from all the groundwork set by the previous movies so that it could tell the climactic story. End Game was good, but a little off. Absolutely a theatrical experience for the ages though. Seeing those big moments for the first time with a huge crowd going nuts? Difficult to top that.

Lennart Kölsch

I'd say the first Iron man is propably my favourite. The humour, the first suit up and Tony Stark, hard to beat that at least for me :)

Christopher Easton

I think Darren touched on the single best part of Endgame, the theatrical experience. Seeing that movie at home and without others can't replicate how it felt to be a part of a moment like that when hundreds of people are experiencing emotions together. That moment of cap with Thor's hammer *chefs kiss* Crowd went absolutely nuts.

Christopher Easton

Several favorites like the first avenger, the original iron man, the first Guardians of the Galaxy. I really enjoyed Doctor strange except for the villain. Dormammu was fantastic and I liked how that resolved but the "good wizard gone bad" was a waste of Madz Mikkleson's talent.

John Henderson

It remains The Winter Soldier, on so many different levels, facing up to what the Cap actually believes in reverberates through the rest of the movies.

I definitely put winter soldier as a close second...but that might change once I see have a chance to see it again (It’s been a while).

Mads is one of my favorite actors right now. His take on Hannibal was so unsettling. Totally wasted in Doctor Strange. Loved guardians! They did so much right with that movie! I’m kinda done with marvel movies now that Cap and Tony are gone, but I can’t wait for more guardians!

The movie that started it all! Robert Downey Jr. had such a great take on Tony. Those last few seconds of the film where he’s about to read from the script and you just see him think to himself...fuck it, “I am iron man.” What a mad lad!

I like infinity war more than endgame but both are awsome sadly i saw them at home not in theater

Well we saw what they did with Star Wars. ^^; “who cares if it doesn’t make sense, people will still watch it.” I swear, The Last Jedi was basically a presentation on how not to make a movie.

Skaitwaker

It would have been one good thing was that I still watched both movies with my brothers

Shrub Jump

I was emotionally crushed by the ending of Infinity War (like a lot of people, I'm sure). But I've got to hand it to them--it set up a great payoff in Endgame. Also enjoyed GotG, Black Panther, and the first Avengers movie. Favorite Marvel character: Howard the Duck. *Not* the 1980s movie version, and none of his modern versions. I'm a fan of Howard the Duck in the 1970s comic books.

Too many Marvel Characters I like. Most I feel have been done better justice with animation. As for my Favorite Live action Marvel films, Logan, Captain Marvel, Cap America Winter Solider, and Thor Ragnarok. I agree that Infinity war was great and End game was, kind of lack luster. But I give credit to all the Disney Marvel Films. There has never really been a "BAD" one.

Ragnarok is definitely my fav of the Thor films. The tone and setting worked perfectly. And teaming him with hulk/banner worked great!
