Weekly Update 01.28.19... (Patreon)

Hope everyone had a great weekend! I was on the road for part of it, but made it home in time for a game of DnD yesterday. :)

A busy week ahead with two commissions to go. I’ve noticed that I am actively avoiding BLACK LABEL because I just can’t figure out what that damn panel needs to look like, so I promise to actively work on it this week. The entire chapter is written and a good clip of it is sketched and ready for lines, so aside from the two remaining commissions, I have no excuses!

I also have a couple other images that I want to draw for myself. We’ll see if I can’t make time to at least get them sketched this week.  They’re both SFW but I think you’ll like them.

Hmmm...I feel like I should share something else with you guys besides my to do list...the DM got drunk during the game yesterday, so that was interesting...

I'm on the road a lot and one of the things I enjoy is a good podcast or audiobook.  For Christmas, my wife got me a gift card to the HP Lovecraft Historical Society which I spent on a set of four Lovecraft Radio shows.  It's called Dark Adventure Radio Theater (D.A.R.T. for short).

They're an hour or so each and are very professionally done!  Makes my driving time much more enjoyable.  They also come with some great prop documents that I plan to incorporate into future Call of Cthulhu games (the Dagon: War of the Worlds episode came with an entire prop newspaper filled with stories about an attack by the deep ones.  It was a fun read!).  If you're into Lovecraft, check them out (and no, they did not pay me to say that)! ;)  Already making plans to pick up a few more radio shows but that'll have to wait for summer (I'll be on the road a lot then).  They have a couple of movies and game props.
