Weekly Update 11.27.17 (Patreon)

You may recall a while back about Scattered Comics wanting to produce one of my books. I’ve been mulling over whether or not I was going to go for it as I’m fully invested in BLACK LABEL and AMAZON. My wife and I had a pretty long, productive conversation about it and I managed to strike a deal with Scattered that will leave me with plenty of time to work on my own stuff. So…yeah, I’m going for it!

A few details about the deal:

1)  I will be able to post everything here on Patreon. Everything! I’ve posted a few things from my Scattered commissions in the past, but was asked to stop, which sucks, but I get to post everything now! I’ll also be able to post approved selections on DevArt! :)

2)  No more Scattered Commissions. I will only be working on this book for them. No other projects.

3)  Majority control of art and script production. There will be edits and additions beyond my control, but all in all, it will be my book to write and draw.

Best part is, the script is done and approved! 

In a way, this simplifies my production schedule. Every week I will be working on something from BLACK LABEL (be it a page, mini comic or single image) something from AMAZON, and something for Scattered. I actually have a lot of old production sketches and drawings from the Scattered project, so I’ll be posting some of those soon! Also, I don’t officially start on the Scattered book until January, so that gives me a bit of a head start!

December is of course a busy month for all of us. I should be able to stick to my posting schedule though (fingers crossed). Also, moving in a couple weeks.  Shouldn’t cut too badly into my schedule as we don’t have a lot of stuff to move and we get early access to our new place. I may actually be getting an office out of this deal! So excited!
