Weekly Update 10.30.17 (Patreon)

Busy week ahead as October is drawing to a close. Hope everyone has something fun planned for Halloween and that you’ve got your costumes all lined up. :)

Something cool happened last week. As I was recovering from illness and whatnot, I couldn’t get my head around drawing, so I spent a lot of time writing. Maybe it was the medication, but I ended up pounding out about fifteen pages of script that squares away the first story arc of BLACK LABEL! Very excited about that as Meg and Ellie’s story has been a surprising challenge. It feels like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

I also wrote two short, NSFW stories, but I’m not going to start playing around with those until AMAZON is done. Ugh, I keep writing stories when I need to be drawing. ^^;

So here’s the plan: I’m gonna work on the next BLACK LABEL comic (it’s eight pages) as well as a page from Amazon, which is already about half finished (the next panel is proving a tad more complicated than I anticipated). Those are the big two for the week.

I’m on the road again later this week (big surprise) and then I have Tracy Con this weekend at the Northgate Village in Tracy California. http://becomeonevoice.com/ If you’re in the neighborhood, I hope you’ll swing by and say hi! I’ll be opening commissions in about a week. Got some unexpected expenses this past month that need seeing to. I’ve made some changes to the way I do commissions.  First, I won’t be doing Patreon discounts anymore, but I will be alerting you guys a week before I announce it on DevArt and HF so you have extra time to get your request in and figure out what you want to do.  After I announce it on DevArt, I’ll wait a week before closing.  I’ll go through all the requests and pick my favorites.  I’ll be making an official post with prices and details soon, but for now, if you’re interested, you can start thinking about what you might want to see.
