Weekly Update 10.01.17 (Patreon)

First thing’s first…Comic! Later today! :D

I had a busy weekend on the road but I also had a lot of productive drawing time!  Not part of the LUNCH WITH A DOMME story arc (still making some script adjustments to that) but I think you'll enjoy them. :)

SacCon http://www.sac-con.com/ is this Sunday and I’ll be tabling with the Scattered Comics crew. Just a one day convention, but it’s always a packed house (and my wife is going to make cupcakes for it, so I’m even more excited).

Scattered Comics also wants to publish a comic book that I proposed a while back. Very exciting! I haven’t said yes yet as I need to plan and schedule things out pretty carefully (don't want to cut into Black Label drawing time). The best part is I would be taken off their commissioner list so I could concentrate on the comic full time. I don’t like commissioning for Scattered clients as I don’t have any control over negotiation and no direct communication with the client.  In addition, since I don’t own the product I’m not allowed to share any of it.  If we move forward with my book, they said I could share whatever I want on Patreon (with the exception of the finished book, of course).  Like I said, I haven’t said yes yet.  I’ll keep you guys up to date as the discussion moves forward.

Okay, very busy week ahead, but I don’t need to do any major traveling till Saturday, so I should be able to get several drawings knocked out. Very excited to get started. In fact…I think I will. Chat soon!
