Weekly Update 9.4.17 (Patreon)

A huge thanks to you guys! I would not have been able to afford my small press table, the time off work, and the other combined expenses without your help. Thank you!

The mission was simple: Sell a bunch of stuff, meet new people, advertise my book, hand out a bunch of business cards, see cool things, and of course, have fun. 

To be honest, our location in the dealer’s room was pretty bad. All the way in the back corner facing the wall. Fortunately, people needed to pass us to get to the bathroom, so…

Poor sales aside, we met a lot of cool people, including the tentacle king himself, Toshio Maeda, creator of La Blue Girl, and voice actor Sam Riegel, star of several games and anime, including Phionex Wright, Persona 4, and one of my favorite Youtube shows, Critical Role. If you are a D&D fan, you need to check it out Critical Role.

But the biggest surprise of the weekend was a surprise visit from one of my Patrons, Shrub Jump! I had no idea that any of my Patrons were on the west coast, so that was awesome!
