Proof of Concept: She-Wolf K9 Crusader: Moonrise (Patreon)

Jan Walker is having a rough time.  After barely surviving an animal attack that wrecked her family,  she's been trying to navigate high school as unobtrusively as possible, which has been made harder by strangely oversensitive hearing and uncharacteristic bursts of temper.   Now, after roughing up a school bully, she's been grounded just as the boy she's had a crush on for ages has invited her to a Halloween party.  Now she's snuck out, in an unacceptably inaccurate costume of her favorite superhero no less, only to find her crush and her best friend wearing matching outfits.  Is it any wonder when armed strangers threaten the party she snaps?  That she's able to handily beat them in hand to hand combat even through she's previously had no athletic ability whatsoever?  It doesn't matter, because as the moon rises so does her anger... until her life is changed forever and a legend is born!  Presenting:

I usually aim to have this in place by the 15th, but with a Friday the 13th in October I couldn't resist getting this up early!  Yes, it's the first transformation of our very own Jan Walker, aka She-Wolf, the K9 Crusader!

This is one I obviously have had rattling around in my head for some time.  Just under a year ago I posted an image of the Halloween costume she wears to that fateful party, just for reference, along with the original sketch from the Sketchbook App.   Enjoy!
