Remember when I posted that autumn picture of Jan at the beginning of this month I told you Jan had a very specific color palette for her civilian outfits?  Some time back during the Janet era of the She-Wolf I realized that, subconsciously, I had made her a combination of my two favorite superheroes--Batgirl, the bookworm who becomes a bright, smart, daring costumed adventurer dressed as a nocturnal creature by night, and the Hulk--a shy, intellectual person who, under the right conditions, will, to quote Tony Stark, "lose control and turn into an enormous rage monster."  So when I started drawing Jan, I decided to make her look distinct, I would put her in colors paying homage to those two characters--most notably, green, yellow, and purple, but also some white, black, grey, and blue.  I find it's given her a unique look, and set her apart from her predecessor, who did mostly soft blues and earth tones, but also red.    In between the lines last month I drew a couple of outfits paying direct tribute to those two characters.  This is the first one, pretty clearly taking cues from Dr. Banner.  Look for the other one later today!

What do you think?  Does this color scheme work for Jan?
