Steps for the Holiday Jenny Pic.  I've been using a new technique on some of these more recent posts, as you'll see.  Above. the pose sketch; below, the sketched details.

"Final" pencils.  As you can see, I briefly considered putting Jen in a skirt instead.

Inks.  You'll notice her hair is missing.

Flats.  I've started rendering hair with a colored pencil tool.  As you can see, I do drop in a solid color in the background to give it a little more volume.

The hair drawn in.  I also used this layer and the pencil tool to add the pattern on her vest, and color on small details like buttons and earrings.

Renders on the rest of her, as usual.

Highlights over the inks... on the eyes, the earrings, the jewelry, the buttons, the buckles on her shoes, and the hair.

Backdrop using a pastel tool.

Lights added for that festive feel... and all the layers on display.
