UPDATE: Throwback Thursday 7/15/2021:  A fun pinup showing the wolf taking over mentally before the physical changes begin,

Here's a new image commemorating the July Moon.  I wanted to try something a little different.  Usually when I draw a transformation the subject's mind changes along with the body.  Here I wanted to depict the wolf taking control right at the start of the change, creating a contrast between the feral expression of the character and her very reserved, polished appearance.  I had to really resist the temptation to add more stray hairs or other transformation cues besides the glowing eyes and that one loose strand, though I did work in one other thing--can you spot it?

Anyway, I hope you like it! Even though it's fairly simple I think it came out really well, and I may roll out a lower res version for the public--maybe for October?  We'll see.

Loved it! You can use more of this kind of effect in your transformation sequences. It creates a "build-up" of anger that adds a lot of "thrill" to the story. By the way, I'm sorry I comment very little here (until now), that's because my life has been very busy these days. But your work is awesome, very very good indeed. I've known your drawings since the early "Deviantart" days. Whenever I have free time, I come here to admire your work. Keep going, you are doing fine!

The ears were the main cheat I mentioned. The nose was just a coloring decision near the end. And the drool was actually the primary inspration for the piece. The idea of an otherwise prim, polished woman snarling and drooling was a great way to convey a loss of self-control.

I've seen you swoop in every now and again and tag a bunch of stuff at once. I'm just grateful you are committing both your valuable time and money to this page. I hope you will find your visits continue to be rewarding!
