Project QK: Long Live the Queen (Patreon)

THROWBACK THURSDAY 6/10/2021:  This piece has actually been available to the public but I still thought it'd be fun to put the spotlight on it again.  Meg Raymond aka Queen Kaiju is one of those ones that has slipped the cracks, though she did get another feature during the Pink Moon one April.  Part of me wonders if I should combine her with the Princess Titania magical girl concept I posted recently.  Yeah, it'd be another superheroine with a monstrous secret,  but those are fun, right?  Thoughts?

Japanese orphan Megumi Nakajima was brought to the United States as an infant and raised as Meg Raymond.  Little did she know she was actually the result of an experiment--one that fused human DNA with that of a legendary creature.  As she reached adulthood, that creature's DNA began to assert itself, and Meg soon found herself becoming---QUEEN KAIJU!

I drew this back in April thinking I would use it as an icon or logo either for my entire page or my "Beauty is the Beast" works, but decided to go a different way.  Still, I hope to revisit Meg sooner or later.
