Character Design Concept: Gillian: “Birth Day” (Patreon)

An advance peek for the Legionnaires of something that may or may not come to pass. Over at dA I’ve gotten a fair number of questions about the origins of Gillian Watson-Graysmith, aka TygerWylde. That got me revisiting the (very vague) concept I had of the circumstances of her first transformation and fleshing it out in my head a little bit. While Gillian was mostly just cooked up as a foil to Manic’s excellent villain the Vixen, I did have the notion that her powers were hereditary, and that they would probably awaken on a milestone birthday. Gillian comes form some degree of wealth, so a somewhat old fashioned party dress was in order. I decided to draw one up, and this is the result. Not sure if I’ll get to put it to use, but until then, it’s a peek into what’s going in my head for you legionnaires. Pencils included as well.
