Phew. First month I charged you guys. That was a bit heartstopping for me, hitting that post. I didn't lose too many of you! Good!

Next step: the Caravan Heads West + the first stop. With caravan guards included.

Guess that was pretty clear from the last poll, but this time, I'd appreciate some feedback on how useful you find the format. Drop in with comments, too.

Also, for the $4+ patrons, I've contacted a few of you already, but for all of you, now's the time to chime in with heroes you'd like illustrated as NPCs for the adventure. (note: I don't promise they'll look like you imagine by the time they're done!)

I really like the format so far - I think if the encounters and misfortunes are all presented in a sort of 'self-contained' format like this, it will make each stage of the journey isolated, which helps convey the long journey time. I am probably not explaining myself very well, so if that doesn't make sense, simply accept "I like it so far, great job!"

Re: NPCs, do we post here or would you prefer an email or other message?

Yup, that is the goal: a pointcrawl comprising weeks and weeks of voyaging, but with interesting sites along the way. This is really an outgrowth of my own experience of travel: long periods of boring sitting around in cars, trains and airplanes, and then a moment of Event - either something beautiful to see and experience, or some stupid misfortune involving walking the sole off your shoe or a Batesian motel.
