We're wandering mighty close to the magnificent number of 667 members of this here friendly neighbourhood stratometaship. I hadn't really thought we'd reach it when I put it up, but here we are. Here we are.

I'd been talking about re-doing some of the tiers, fixing the welcome page, nipping and tucking here and there for ages, but, somehow, something else always tugged. Write more, brain whispered. Finish commitments more, brain whispered. Do commissions more, brain whispered. Draw more, brain whispered. Not yet ready, not yet ready, brain whispered.

And, through all that, wowzers, this last year and a half, eh? And the half year before that wasn't the easiest either, was it? I mean, for me they sure wasn't [sic]!

Then, sudden-sudden, I find myself in the situation of "Oh, my, if I want to announce this big round number, folks will come look, and I need to mow the lawn and fix the porch and put out some FUEL FIRE DARK DESIRE power drink and put on some Linen Biscuit light metal records."

So this is the post to say, I'm going to be doing some cleaning-up.

• Tiers are getting trimmed and tweaked. Nobody's situation should change, but I'm planning to merge the two $4 tiers, since there's no difference anymore.
• The page descriptions are getting new art and words.
• Will try to finally get that about pitch vidyeo together.
• Going to try and set up an itch.io bundle of pdfs directly linked to the metahero tier.

Everything should be ok. But I'm human. Humans are clumsy. If anything breaks, just message me, and I'll see about fixing things up!

Ah, but if I were just making some sort of announcement post, that'd be no fun, right? I'd be clogging up your inbox without paying no JOESKY tax. Can't have that.

So, here's a preview on the pets & other animals section of Beyond the Black City (the ornate minimalist seacat player book). You'll notice there are 58 pets statt'd up. Those two extra slots are for y'all to pitch and like in the comments. Most popular gets in the final two ... though I don't promise Facey McFace-Face the Facehugger is not getting a name change.

After all, I think facehuggers are probably trademarked or copyrighted by the Stranger* franchise.
