Witchburner 2nd Edition: A Post or Nost? (Patreon)

Hello, dear heroes.

Thank you for your patience - the last week and more passed in a haze of legal issues as we worked to settle the majority of my late father's estate, then a flight across the bulk of Eurasia, followed by a lovely spot of jet-lag and a return to work on the last of the coloring of the art for the UVG.

But not just that.

It's just about a year since Exalted Funeral was founded, and also a year since I released Witchburner. Now, you might well know I love that book ... and it was also excessively long for a patreon creation.

After the release here on the stratometaship, I edited it and updated it a bit for the funeral edition in January. I added worksheets and more art. Now, today, just today, I also finished the second edition. I've added 6 more pieces of art, an alternative cover, 8 pages of rules, worksheets, tables, and letters to make it possible to run as a one-shot. And a random poem about maiden swirling-hair. Sure, why not. The MoonRat Conspiracy also edited it already.

So, Witchburner 2nd Edition has a fair bit more polish and content than the original I released last September.

Now, those who've pre-ordered Witchburner with Exalted Funeral are getting their .pdfs today. Oh, remember that as a patron you get a $3 discount on physical orders with the code THEHEROESDIDNOTAGREETOTHIS. The metaheroes are also getting the pdf, because, well ... that's kind of the deal. 

I want to re-release the expanded Witchburner to the whole stratometaship, too. However, poll and fair warning first.

If lots of folks vote "Yes!" I'll release the pretty .pdf with a special post for the heroes, miniheroes, and doubleminihereos in a couple of days, after the poll. If lots of folks vote "No!", I'll rethink things.

That said, I do think the new rules do make it quite cool, and the new worksheets - including a bunch I have to thank Max Vanderheyden for - are pretty excellent.

I'm also going to create a new $4 tier: "neoheroes" - it's almost identical to the regular "heroes" tier, with one difference: I'll only tag that tier when I publish something completely brand new. A new chapter. A new dungeon. A new adventure. Things like that.

That way, when I make a "Vehicles of the UVG" zine, I won't have to make a poll like this again! ^_^
