Color Inbound (Patreon)

This week I've got a very short update. This upcoming week we're moving from our current house to a new one that should shorten our combined commutes by over two hours, which is great. But it's going to involve new towns, neighborhoods, communities, spaces, and habits. Every move is emotionally, financially, and socially jarring, and this one is no different. I'm really not looking forward to it, but the alternative is worse.

To better cope, while keeping up with delivering the UVG, I'm just quietly drawing and coloring in the background. The MoonRats have announced that their editing pass should be complete by this weekend, and then next week, while I start inserting the colored art, I'll pass around the final manuscript to the Typohunters. This might delay Longwinter a bit more: oh, well.

On Drawing

And that's great, but it's all just status updates. A few days ago a friend asked me an  question about drawing: whether I "see" a picture before I draw it, and that led me to some ... interesting realizations. I really have to write it up along with illustrations.

So that'll happen at some point.
