Hey everyone, starting the final 3 images of the series!

It's funny because I never thought of doing Iris with long hair, but I have to say, she looks just as good =D

This reminds me of that steamy bath scene in Witcher 2. (＾་།＾) Till the witcher 3 that was quite possibly the most artistically appealing adult-scene I have seen in a video game. Which reminds me, gotta replay Witcher 3 again to see Tris's romance storyline... Some day.

My bae! You know its funny you should mention hair. I almost sent you a message asking if you could do a piece on Iris with a different hair style. Something edgy, like shave one side of her head like Natalie Dormer did (Game of Thrones and Hunger Games actress). Just curious if Iris could pull it off just as well. ;)

Aw, Iris looks absolutely incredible! 😍😍😍😍😍 I love this pose and expression with her hair cascading down her back and her arms reaching up, seeing the way her shoulders chest and breasts move with her arms. There's something so beautiful about how she leans her head back, eyes closed with a tranquil look on her face. And as always, the rendering is amazing, I especially enjoy all the detail with the interlocking shapes at her neck and collarbone, and how her chest and shoulders interact. The arms look so nice too with that line of light running through them, giving them that wet, shiny texture, same with the lighting on her breasts too. The detail in her armpits is great too with all those little creases and folds in the skin. Beautiful work once again! 👏👏👏👏👏 Always so fun to see the progression of an Iris scene 💜💜💜💜💜

I'd probably try that when drawing her on a "different theme" (like the mermaid one for example). Since Iris images have a certain continuity, chages like that would affect several other drawings. So I'd prefer to test that on a more isolated image lol

I have to say I was a bit scared of drawing her face on that angle. It's a very tricky angle to get it right, so I'm really happy with the result (had to redraw her a dozen times, but hey). I also really like how she has her arms up and her chest in a mix of stretched and "loose" at the same time =D

Tbh friend, Iris could make a brown burlap sack look sexy and beautiful so long hair ,imo, is perfect!! (then again I am a sucker for long hair so maybe I'm a bit biased. lol) 😍😁😍

fun fact, It was actually one of the colors I tried for her in her first colored image, but light brunette was more fitting =D

Ooooh, this 5th painting may very well be my favourite one! 😍😍😍😍😍 Iris looks so sensual and alluring, fully reclined back in the bath with her body subtly twisting with her head leaning to the side, torso pointed forward and hips and thighs turning to her left. I can just imagine her subtly swaying about in the water 😊. I also love her expression with her contented smile and eyes closed, something about her arms being raised and a hand in amongst her hair is extra appealing. The rendering continues to be amazing with her hair especially looking so gorgeous as it falls around her face. Her face too looks absolutely beautiful, as does her foreshortened body. Marvellous work once again! 👏👏👏👏👏 This painting is definitely top candidate to be a wallpaper 💜💜💜

I have to say, for me it's a close tie between the 1st, 3rd and this one =D I really liked how "silky" her hair looks. And while initially it was very tricky to get the torso right, once I did, I loved the result lol

Ooooh, the last part is gorgeous! (not that that's a surprise at this stage 😉) I love this pose for Iris, it's so very sensual with how her body leans to the side, showing the curvaceous contours of her bum, with her raised arm leaving her breasts in view, with the bubbles providing a cheeky tease. The asymmetry here is great too with one arm lowered and straight vs the other being raised, bent and foreshortened, with her thigh also cutting across the direction and angle of her torso. I also really enjoy the profile view of Iris' face with her eye open and a beautiful smile, while her long hair falls down around her. I always really enjoy the way you show hair sweeping over a character's head to fall down the other side, particularly with the many strands breaking away and curling, all of it meandering and cascading down 😊 And naturally the rendering continues to be amazing! I especially like her raised arm with the subtle line of light running down her forearm, crossing over the elbow and sweeping along her tricep area. The subtle light and shadows that all define the plane changes of her shoulder, armpit and small plane changes along her back are so good too. And of course the level of detail around her neck and collarbone are great, it's always fun to see how you paint anatomy with all of the parts of the body shifting around as other parts move. And her face is just beautifully painted, I particularly like her cheek, the shadows that define her chin and jaw and all the subtle little lights that do things like separate the front and side planes of her forehead, as well as define the ridge of her nose. You've done an excellent job in this Iris series and it's been a pleasure to see the progression, wonderful work! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Thank you! The last pannel was one of my favourites to do, and I honetly really liked the idea of the series, to have her more "relaxed" going about a bath routine. So it's intended that there's a bit more gap and variations between the images, as if they are several minutes appart and not exactly like the previous series that are just a few moments apart. Also I have to say I really liked her with long hair. Specially since I did a "wavy" hair style that was initially fitting for the short hair, it makes a very "wild" and lush long hair, which is great. And I really learned a lot with this image and the Ariel picture earlier on May. It gave me a big insight on how to better paint water and it's effects. So it's usefull information for the future =)
