Patreon feedback and changes planned for the future! (Patreon)

Hey everyone, first of all, I'd like to thank you for providing feedback on my survey, it's really important to make sure things are on the right track.

But there are already some solid "trends" on feedback, so with that in mind, I'd like to talk about a few changes I'm planning for my patreon. The idea is basically to include more content for you guys across the month instead of only in the day that the rewards are sent. 

At the same time, make it more clear on my other social media what my work is about, instead of just dropping previews here and there. Keep in mind that nothing is set in stone, but the ideas I'll be trying out in the coming months and see how the response is. So if you haver further feedback about them, by all means feel free to post.

Early access to content

From now on, the images will be released here on my patreon a few days earlier before "going public".  Many of you are interested in this, and I agree it's a nice "perk" of being a patreon. The only exception would be the final image of the month, since they are usually released on the 30-31th of the month, if I delayed them on my social media, people interested on them might miss the pledge window here on patreon. 

NSFW previews

A lot of you are interested in this as well, so from now on, I'll post an uncensored NSFW version of the images here on patreon as well. They'll be on a slightly lower resolution (762x1000 px) so it doesn't "spoil all the fun" of the rewards, but enough that you can see what's going on. 

After the month is over and rewards are sent, the NSFW previews will be available only to the 10$ tier.  So for example, now during May we'll have the NSFW previews of Ariel, Daphne, Widowmaker Voyeur and Iris. After June 3-4th, when everyone got their rewards, the NSFW preview posts will only be acessible to the 10$ tier.  

WIP updates

I'll also update the "Preview" posts to include the actual evolution of the image, instead of just the initial lineart. But to prevent message spam, I won't notify you guys about the updates so you don't have a "notification from Krys" every day on your inbox lol.    

Streaming

Currently, "drawing streams" are a bit of a problem because when I'm drawing, I like (and need) to focus on what I'm doing. Which means not paying too much attention to chats and messages, and being 100% honest, I also don't like to "describe" what I'm doing, since each part of the drawings usually take hours. Which results in streams that are probably quite boring to see lol. But on the other hand,  people often ask me for tutorials, how I do this or that, and I really like to explain how I do things and help out in general. 

So my plan is instead of streaming isolated parts of drawings, I'd focus on making a "tutorial stream".  Once per month, I'll create a post here on Patreon where people can ask about things they would like to see, questions and whatnot. Then, every X weeks (depending on the amount of questions) I'll make a 1-2h stream explaining how I do those things, giving tips, techniques and proper explanations of the topics asked by you guys. If you can't attend the live stream, it will be available as video, a day or so later, so you can watch on your own time.    

Changes to other social media  

1) The preview images posted on other social media (Facebook, Deviantart etc) will have a slightly lower quality than the ones posted here:

- Patreon previews will be the usual 1080x1417 (35% of the final image, the exact same size I post nowadays)

- Social Media previews will be slightly smaller, at 762x1000 (~25% of the final image)

2) For the past years, I noticed a few problems on not sharing absolutely nothing from the NSFW versions. 

First, a LOT of people have no idea that the NSFW versions even exist. Even with me constantly advertising that they exist, posting censored previews etc, a lot of people simply don't read descriptions that often. 

Second, is that for the people that are actually interested on them, there's really no way to see what my nsfw versions are. And after a lot of research, it's something that many artists do as well, to make their nsfw content available on twitter, deviantart or some other places that allow nudity to be posted.

With that in mind, I'll gradually make available a low quality image (762x1000) of the NSFW version of my older drawings on my Deviantart, starting from the very first Tyrande, from 2015. Kinda like "oficial samples", because I think it's important that people can see what my work is about and decide if they want to support it or not. 

Final thoughts and Iris

The part about Iris and having a new OC is something that I've been considering for some time now. Initially I'm planning for it to be a "supporting character". Someone that appears every now and then on Iris images, maybe series and such, just playing out with ideas really.

It's not set in stone yet, but something I'm brewing on the back of my head for now.

Also, I'd like to thank you all for your words. I really appreciate the comments and compliments that I got and all the feedback. It's really amazing to see how passionate you guys are about my work, which gives me that feeling of "doing the right thing".

So I think those changes are important to give you guys more updates on the process and for those interested, to see the evolution of my works more often, and give more value to the support you guys give me.
