Hello all, and welcome back to Elseridge Academy! When we asked you what you wanted from a magic school setting, you made it clear you really wanted our setting to be grounded, for the curriculum to make logical sense, and for there to be opportunities to roleplay the mundane day-to-day. Elseridge Academy 02 is all about that! Let's dive in.

Borough Guide

This chapter was created to present a huge amount of useful information for GMs. It's got an explanation of the typical curriculum, guidelines for designing classes, practical info about dorming, a list of extracurriculars (with associated mechanical buffs), and a suggested format for running magic academy sessions that we think is extremely useful. As always, we've also got stunning illustrations and useful tabletop tips throughout!

Maps

This map features the main quad of Elseridge dorms. This is likely where your players will be living for three of the next four years, so you'd best get accustomed to this map in particular! Students get a little yard, some balconies, and a pleasant square all to themselves. As with each of our Elseridge maps, we provide 5 additional aesthetic variants: Tropical, Forest, Winter, Fluxum, and Starfall.

Patrons at the Chief Courier tier and up also get access to maps for three floors of the main dormitory building. These gorgeous custom interiors should be useful for any of you with players who love lengthy downtime roleplaying sessions. 

Music

Speaking of downtime in the dorms, this week's track is titled "Downtime in the Dorms." It's a colorful track that evokes the wide variety of quirky moods of social encounters at Elseridge. An eclectic collection of instruments and constant modulations evoke the many different activities your players may get up to in between classes and adventures. For a more focused setting, you can also throw on the "Studying" variant.
