Hello all, and welcome back to Yllmourne! Today, we're tackling the northeast section of the city. The plot thickens, the town grows more winding and labyrinthine, and the mood sours. Let's dig in!

Borough Guide

In this release, we explore crime lord One-Eyed Cy and his various "legitimate business ventures." Your party is likely to meet this enigmatic quest-giver early in their journeys through Yllmourne, so it's best to get acquainted with the NPC and his operations. One of those operations is the Belly of the Beast, an underground fighting ring that you're obviously going to use in your campaigns. Finally, this guide introduces a quest to find a new healer for the town. An outbreak of the plague has the city in chaos, and the old healer—a potentially nefarious witch—was just murdered. Can your players redress her death and find a suitable replacement?

Maps

The primary map for this week slots in the upper right corner of Yllmourne. A canal flows under the city street, and eyes peer down at adventurers from countless rooftops. Dagmara's burnt down house in a reminder that deviltry will not be tolerated 'round these parts. As always, we have a slew of excellent variants for this map: misty, rainy, summer, winter, low-tide, and shadowfell.

Music

Our track this week is "Executioner," a steady and aggressive combat track that you're going to want to loop endlessly during bouts in the Belly of the Beast. As with all of our Yllmourne music, there's an air of cosmopolitan danger here: exotic wind instruments and hammered strings make it clear that this is no sleepy port town. Our "Intrigue" variant is useful for adventure arcs where your players are more focused on sleuthing than slaying.
