Finally, time to party

Today, we return once again to Ithivellia, the fae capital in an enchanted glade! This release is a really special one because we’ve got four unique collabs to help you bring your fae adventure to life. Let’s dive in!

Borough Guide

This PDF introduces you to Maestro Ilidon, one of the six archfae of Ithivellia. As the most gregarious of the archfae, he is—of course!—hosting a masquerade ball. This is a great opportunity to get your players into the thick of fae politics, investigating and scheming while perfectly disguised. This guide also gives much more information about Ilidon’s pupils, the quirky fae raccoons that perform enchanting tunes all across the glade. Will you free them from the shackles of servitude?

We also just released a guide to using our six archfae in campaigns that feature archfae warlock patrons! The short document is included with the BB content zip file, but you can also download it separately via this link. This guide was created in collaboration with the incredible Ginny Di who also created a short video on the subject! Stay tuned for more BB x Ginny Di content tomorrow.

Maps

Borough Bound’s primary map today is the middle of the southern section of our six part Ithivellia map. This map is dominated by Ilidon’s ballroom, a glorious party space that will inevitably find itself home to countless fae quests. As always, we have variants of this map for each of the seasons, plus one that is spooky and misty.

Patrons at the Chief Courier tier or higher also gain access to multiple levels of interior maps for the walls surrounding the ballroom. This allows for even more tactical gameplay as your party sneaks or fights their way around threats on the dancefloor.

Music

Our track today is “Don the Mask, Drink the Cordial,” a rousing Celtic dance. Fiddles, guitar, and Irish flutes play unceasing melodies that will surely get your players excited for some ballroom antics. We’ve also included a cheeky music box variant of this track in case you want something at a maximally opposite intensity level.

Ilidon’s Pupil | Collaboration with the Fluffy Folio

Our old pal Fluffy collaborated with us yet again to provide art and stats for Ilidon’s Pupil! This little raccoon fella is certainly going to show up in all of your Ithivellia campaigns, and the chaos of its 5e actions will undoubtedly cause hilarious headaches for your players. Fluffy is the master of cute and creepy monsters, so if you need more beautiful art, tokens, stat blocks, and homebrew potions, please check out his Patreon!

Ilidon’s Conservatory | Collaboration with Crossland

In keeping with the whole “raccoon musician” theme, we finally got legendary mapmaker Crosshead to collaborate with us to create Ilidon’s Conservatory. This massive fae music school map is perfect for adventurers who want to roleplay as students, teachers, or just liberate Ilidon’s Pupils from the wicked conductor that has them under some tasteful light mind-control. If you want even more content for this conservatory, including NPCs and an accompanying module, plus dozens of gorgeous maps from Crosshead’s catalog, go give them a follow on Patreon!

Unseelie Fae Outpost | Collaboration with Stained Karbon Maps

It seems inevitable that at some point your players will want to venture out of Ithivellia and into the dangerous adjoining woods. When they do so, they may just come across this Unseelie Outpost by our friend Krane of Stained Karbon Maps. This colorful map perfectly blends the beautiful magics of Ithivellia with the seedy influence of dark fae. Grab variants and tons of additional beautiful maps over at the Stained Karbon Maps patreon page!
