Someone's got to do the actual work around here

Welcome back to Crabwell everybody! Today' release wraps us around to the southwestern corner of the ancient city, with its massive bank vaults, peaceful stables, and grand vistas from the Great Belltower. We've still got two more releases this month after this one, so keep your eyes on this space!

Guide

Our borough guide today focuses on the activities of Bellringer Simon Thibald. As the quasi-mayor of Crabwell, Simon has quite a bit of authority to make changes to the city or to potentially hire the adventurers. Simon is the consummate quest giver, so feel free to use him to dispense any and all plot hooks as necessary.

This guide also features some of the first few pieces by our new artists Jesse and Rachel! We'll be featuring a bunch of work from our talented new artists over the next few docs, so please give them a warm welcome!

Maps

Today's map is positioned directly below Crabwell 01. We're doing a bit of zig-zag pattern with this one. Crabwell 04 will slot in directly to the east. This map show off the canal, the public stables (a lovely crutch for adventurers with mounts), and the third corner of the central square. Needless to say, when mayhem strikes the city, you better bet your means of egress are going to get blocked.

Patrons at the Chief Courier tier and higher get access to Simon's office in the belltower, as well as two floors of interiors for the stables.

Music

Our track today is the insanely serene "Upstream," a pastoral tune that evokes the peaceful countryside outside Crabwell. Ye olde plucked and woodwind instruments accompany spacious strings and ethereal choirs. If you need something that is somehow grander and quieter, the (Ambient) variant is a great way to chill out and experience the majesty of the great outdoors without ever leaving your computer!
