Wonderful episode! I'm looking forward to the rest of this season. Almost makes me want to dig out the old Winds from the East WoD supplement. On patriotism and pop culture, it's hard for me to watch movies like Hero (英雄) today and not get smacked by the rather troubling message that runs throughout it.

Actually American heroes saying "We're Americans, Mr President." seems pretty on the money to me.

You sure? Because I think it fits a stereotype -- but precisely because it fits that stereotype, it's hard to imagine it being used. In general, an American action hero would make a flippant quip at that moment.
