I learned all about pseudoscorpions when I spent a week on Colne Point Nature Reserve almost forty years ago, protecting the little tern colony from foxes, herons and nudists. I shared a hut (https://www.essexwt.org.uk/nature-reserves/colne-point) with a bug specialist. He told me about the pseudoscorpion's elaborate mating dance, where in some species the male pulls a female over a spermatophore previously laid upon a surface. In other species, the male also pushes the sperm into the female genitals using the forelegs. The female carries the fertilised eggs in a brood pouch attached to her abdomen, and the young ride on the mother for a short time after they hatch (The detail is from Wikipedia).

I knew that detail about leaving the spermatophore on the ground! Protecting a tern colony from nudists sounds like the beginning of some kind of scenario.
