We've spent 70-ish episodes going through the Fiend Folio. So what have we learned? Join me for this wrapup of the second season, in which I talk about why I think you have to approach this book differently from the original Monster Manual.

I actually can't remember what's in the MM2, but I can remember plenty from the FF. I'll have a look later.

Also, I'm so happy you covered the FF. It's the first proper game book that I bought, as opposed to a present from my rather confused grandparents or other more dubious ways of getting the material. It was 3c a sheet to photocopy in Bordeaux in the early 80s basically a farthing in old English money.

Modrons are in there, um, Bodaks ... a bunch of variant giants, I think? Honestly, I'm as in the dark as you are.

Basically, few Fiend Folio monsters are in the core 5e MM, but a good number of them are in Volo's Guide to Monsters and maybe even Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes. Maybe at some point I'll sit down and do the math ...
