There is quite a lot to say about valkyries, in case you were wondering.

This episode is going up a little early, for which I ... apologise, I guess? My schedule is going to be pretty nuts for the next week, so I'm just trying to deal with stuff as and when I can.

Great episode! Thank you for including your sources and which translations you are using! Do you feel that you have enough material to do a strong stand alone episode about Valkyries without repeating too much? I would be willing to up my pledge to help bankroll that... You also asked about Norse D&D campaigns. I’m not currently running D&D but a couple of neat Norse inspired settings have appeared recently, maybe you could give your thoughts on them. The first two are already on the market: Mithgarth & Midgard where the last has just been successfully kickstarted and hasn’t been delivered yet. The last is Douglas Cole’s Dragon Heresy which may be the most faithful of the three but may suffer as it is an intro set. I believe only goes to fifth level. I wish I had thought to recommend it during the kickstarter so you could have interviewed him but there may still be a neat discussion to be had about developing monsters and races based on the Norse myths.

I reckon I could do a whole episode about valkyries, sure! As for the other Norse-inspired games, I haven't had the chance to check them out. I'm usually pretty restrained on RPG kickstarters, because I know I usually don't have the time to play them, but I am a sucker for things with Vikings in them ...
