My thoughts on Dune Part 2! There's no spoilers in the first section, and I give a warning before getting into spoiler stuff.

Lol I'm glad you got scolded by your friends - it means they love you! I hope besides the fingers that you and Kitty Baby are enjoying the new place (and that you're sleeping better). Hearing your thoughts on Dune definitely has me interested though! I'll have to check out the first one and then see about watching this one

I finally watched it! My ADD makes it hard for me to focus on books unfortunately (I wish I could change that about myself so bad..) so I haven’t read them.. that said, I really enjoyed the movies, the second one in particular! I also enjoyed hearing your thoughts. SPOILER ALERT: Being Swedish I reflected on the fact that there were two Swedish actors in the movie (Stellan & Rebecca) and then they turn out to be father/daughter in the movie. Since they both sound rather Swedish at times I found that kinda cool but I wish the reveal of that fact would have been more… I don’t know.. more? 🤷🏼‍♀️ it felt almost glossed over to me but, I guess that’s what they were going for. I also loved how Austin Butlers character sounded eerily simular to Stellan. 😳 It was like he had looked up to his uncle his whole life and started to emulate and sound like him. I really liked that. That was creepy af to me and made Baron ever creepier. Austin is really good at imitating voices. I really like that the movie doesn’t really tell you what to think but encourages you to think, ya know? Cause I’ve thought a LOT about it since I saw it. How planting the thought of a ”Messiah” in a population controls people because they’ll wait, for centuries for them. And I liked how I couldn’t quite figure out if the prophecy is made up by the witches or an actual prophecy everyone thinks is made up, including the witches… 🤔 Couldn’t help drawing comparisons with our real world and how the witches are puppet masters and that ”they don’t hope, they plan” which is at least how I think this world works as well. But here we’re controlled by rich af white men. Anyway, I have my theories about Paul and his sister and I really look forward to the next movie! Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I hope your hand heals swiftly. We’ve all done things, without thinking it through and/or, overestimating ourselves so, no judgement here. Sending gentle healing finger kisses. 😘😘😉
