Hey gang, how's it going...? (γ»βγ»)οΎ
I hope everyone is doing well and having a good time...!
So today I come to you with a bit of a conundrum... γ½(οΏ£ΟοΏ£(γγ )γ
I hope to find some enlightenment through our combined brain power.
The thing is that right now I don't feel so sure if I should continue with my goal of creating a new doujinshi for this year. As some of you may remember, and as newcomers may find out, last year I worked on creating my first official personal doujin.
You can find it here in case you want to take a look:

Although the results weren't stellar I had a lot of fun drawing it and learned a lot of things while working on it, in fact I feel like it brought me a big step closer to my goal of becoming a full fledged doujin artist. You know, you actually have to draw a doujin to become a doujin artist.
But the fact is, as with any learning process you have to start at the bottom to reach the top, and sometimes skills learned in one field don't translate well to other projects, even if they are somewhat similar in nature.
For me this feels a bit like taking a couple of steps back, since I'm much better at drawing illustrations than at making manga pages. Drawing simple illustrations is what I'm comfortable with and what I'm known for after all. But I really want to get better at this one thing, so even though it's a little damaging to my pride I feel like I have to take the hit to come out on the other side with more experience.
All in all this is not a super serious matter, so don't overanalyze things. I just want to measure what the consensus is in the group. To see if you are willing to humor my selfish ramblings.
In case anyone is curious, I was planning on making a doujinshi about one of these franchises.

Depending on the results of this poll, I will later do another poll to decide what my next project would "potentially" be.
But don't be seduced just by the mere sight of the name of an anime that perhaps interests you. This is about spending almost a month watching me struggle to produce a slightly better (hopefully) hentai book than the one I made last year...lol
