Continuing with the old tradition of wasting your subscription money on silly things, here's the new gadget I just got...!

I don't really know what the correct name is for this kind of hardware, but as you can see it's a kind of gizmo with a lot of buttons and knobs on it.

Is this tool essential for drawing...?

Not really...┐( ´ д ` )┌

But when you are aiming for a professional career, saving time and optimizing your workflow is always welcome...!

Having 17 buttons with over 300 possible combinations puts at the disposal of your left hand a lot of tools that you would otherwise have to spend a lot of time searching and going back and forth between each one of them.

This frees up your right hand, allowing you to spend more time drawing and less time fussing around.

So far I haven't really seen much improvement in my workflow, but this is because I'm still spending a lot of time playing with button layouts, trying to find the perfect arrangement for my drawing style.

The little thing is rock-heavy and appears to be made of good materials, though the clicking of all the rotating elements feels a bit flimsy. As someone who constantly ruins the scroll wheel of any mouse, I have a feeling that this may be the only weak point of the device.
