A brief exciting update for the Gen4/Gen5 rail work that we're working on.

Here's some video clips from a recent test firing.

What we've done so far

Our priority is compatibility. We are targeting the 9mm caliber first since it's so ubiquitous, and have been slowly collecting every Gen4 and Gen5 9mm kit to compare differences between them and the Gen3's. This will help us identify and reconcile any changes between the three generations, and even between the sizes.

Our rails work spectacularly. We did some voodoo to make them fit in the frames (such as cutting a hole in the magwell, with no detriment to inserting the mags), while preserving the locking tabs that the Gen4/5 trigger packs have. The unfortunate thing is that it seems that Gen4 G26's will have to have their own custom front rail. I am unsure about the Gen5 G26's, and won't know until I get my hands on a kit. (Fingers crossed I get it this week.)

We currently have successful test fires for the Gen4 G17 and G34, Gen5 G17, Gen4 G19, Gen5 G19, and the Gen5 G44.

Currently, we are building up the negative models for current and future devs to convert their popular frames to the newest spec, and compatibility for the respective generations.

What's next?

Next is finishing up these rail negatives.

After that, we will work on the modified front rail section for the G26 sized pistols and test those. Once all of that is done, we will package and move into working on the documentation, build guide, and whatnot to have it ready for release!
