10/18/2021 - Development Update (Patreon)

Hi folks,

I'm somewhat conscious during my recovery and am taking it a little easy. I do have some updates to keep things lively-

KAP-9 (Kimel AP-9) Receiver - I'm working on editing this video. Will hopefully finish it during my disability.

Camper III (Armalite AR-7) - This frame is pending release. I have an assembly video put together, but unfortunately, the Release Train wants a PDF of how to put this thing together. I can't work on this, of course, until after disability.

S709 (Taurus 709 Slim [Gen2]) - This beta has been cancelled as Freeman1337 has released his frame.

PS522 "Pond Side" (Sig Sauer 522) - This is still in the air also as we are working out some process and quality guidance within Gatalog RTE's.

SW940 Sigma Rail Spec (S&W Sigma SW9/SW40) - The beta is progressing great for this frame. We have a lot of testers now with a good amount of feedback.

Steyr M9/M40 A1 - No updates.

(NEW!) FN 509, 509C, 9C, and 40C - This is an exciting item I have been experimenting with. I heard that a good number of folks accidentally bought FN 509, 509C, 9C, or 40C kits for the FNS-9/40 release, only to discover that their parts were incompatible. Fortunately, I was able to procure a 509 and 40C kit, and was able to remix the release to accommodate these parts. The 509-spec utilizes an updated front locking block/rail, which offsets the holes by a few mm and reduces the amount of material needed in the front. FN Herstal definitely learned a lot between these revisions; curiously, they kept the excellent rear trigger assembly practically identical between the FNS and 509-specs.
