Finding the entrance to Mount Moon, or one of them at least, was really simple. All I had to do was follow the trail Graveler left up the hill and I found myself in front of a stone pathway leading into a small narrow cave entrance, maybe only twice the height of me in size and width.

I set up camp outside for a bit and released my pokemon. I kept Rattata, Poliwhirl and Chansey with me, while I sent my three flyers in Pidgeotto, Fearow and Beedrill out to search around the area.

From what I remembered, the giant ass moon stone wasn't actually inside the mountain, but rather in an off shoot cave in the middle of the forest on level ground, not far from a rather large stream.

So I sent them off to find it while I got set up for some waiting.

After ten minutes into waiting, I realised I was bored as fuck. Sure, I could train, and not really do much damage to myself, but it got repetitive after a while.

'I need to get some video games.' I groaned inwardly. I sat on a fold out deck chair, one arm atop my knee as I propped my chin in my palm and looked at my pokemon. I'd need to get a portable generator, television and more if I wanted to relax when out of towns, but I'm seriously going to do it. Because fuck just sitting around when not training. The most entertainment I've got is the internet on my phone but I'm not exactly fully familiar with this world's websites.

I haven't even had time for a fucking wank since I got to this damn world.

Chansey was happily humming to herself as she fiddled with some knitting needles and pink fabric. I'd grabbed them with my camping supplies in Viridian City, and for the life of me I have no idea what she's making. Maybe a hat?

Rattata was resting beside my chair, happily cuddled up against my leg and Poliwhirl was..training. As I watched the stocky humanoid water type raise up and then down, up and then down, up and down and repeat plus repeat and then repeat again, I couldn't help but be impressed with his diligence to training. He really did enjoy push ups man.

I'll need to see about making the routine harder on him. And see if he can go about using that same kind of energy he uses for Mega Punch with his legs, maybe get Mega Kick down that way. Then I can go about teaching him Mauy Thai kick boxing. Note to self, make him do squats as well, can't have him skipping leg day. I did that for a while once. Broad of chest with skinny little chicken legs. It was not a good day to realise that.

I sighed and looked around again, looking for anything to do. My eyes swept over the trees, a flock of Pidgey in the air, and then the one lone Paras sitting just outside the entrance to the cave. It hadn't bothered us at all once I didn't even show a reaction to it.

..I was tempted to get it. A bug and grass type would be great for some battles. And all the spore attacks would be amazing. But...I just don't want a pokemon that is actually just a zombie being used as a puppet by a damn mushroom.

My eyes went to the cave, and the dim, dark expanse that I could see within it. Since it was day, it wasn't too hard to see into it, but the deeper it got, the darker it would be.

Before I realised what I was doing, I stood up. Rattata sat up and looked up at me in confusion while the other two put a stop to their activities and looked to me as well. "Chansey can you keep watch of the camp?" I asked, then nodded at the other two, "I want to go check out that cave for a bit with Rattata and Poliwhirl." I added, walking over to my backpack and reaching into the tools compartment, pulling out the flashlight that came with the camping supplies.

"Chansey chans!" my team healer nodded happily and got back to knitting. I patted her head fondly as I went by, at the same time Rattata bounced up to land on my shoulder and Poliwhirl diligently fell in line with me.

I flicked the flashlight on and made my way towards the cave. The Paras skittered away in fright, but before I could step inside the cave, Poliwhirl held out his hand stopping me. I raised an eyebrow at the water type, but he simply nodded once and stepped in front of me so that he went first.

I chuckled, but let him lead on and just aimed the flashlight above him as we went in.

To my surprise as we entered, there were quite a few pokemon. We passed by a few geodude a few feet in, camouflaged as rocks, while atop the ceiling a bunch of zubat hung. A few hissed at the light of my flashlight and flew off deeper into the cavern, but quite a few just ignored me. Honestly, there were quite a few of them. Had to be six rows of seven or eight of them just huddled up together on the ceiling.

I kept an eye on them as we went, and we continued on for a good few dozen feet. "Ra.." Rattata nudged my cheek from my shoulder and pointed down towards the wall to our right. I flashed my torch where he pointed and to my surprise found a little Sandshrew reclining comfortably on a rock.

It gave me a lazy glare t the light before turning and slumping down on its stomach facing away from me. My hand twitched towards my pocket, tempted to go for an empty pokeball and capture it.

Just as I was about to though, a screech reverberated throughout the cavern. I winced, grabbing my ears as they rung in pain and awkwardly shuffled my head a bit to point the flashlight clasped to my head forward.

To my surprise, it was a bunch of Zubat. The ones that flew away I think a few moments ago, only there was one more than I remembered. A bit bigger than the rest and leading the way.

It screeched loudly and zipped forward, speeding towards us. I saw the Sandshrew perk up and curl into a ball before rolling rapidly into the darkness of the cave and disappearing. It ran because of the Zubat?

A familiar red glow appeared around its eyes and in a split second, large twin red beams of energy shot out towards me.

A white glow shone from my shoulder, before a similar pair of red beams shot out from Rattata's eyes and met the twin beams fired by Zubat in the middle. They fizzled out as they clashed, lighting up the narrow tunnel in a brief red glow.

Poliwhirl grunted and jumped forward at the same time, his gloved hands raising into the air as a red glow surrounded him.

The lead Zubat screeched and a similar red glow surrounded its body. It flew forward and scythed right through Poliwhir's hypnosis using its own as a shield, while the ones behind it dropped limply to the ground asleep.

Man, wish I brought Chansey with me. Her Gravity would have made this a cinch!

The red glow faded from Zubat the second it cleared Poliwhirl's hypnosis attack and its wings began to glow white.

I reached up and grabbed Rattata in one hand and threw him forward, "Quick Attack!" I shouted, taking a few steps back to get clear of the fighting. "Mega Punch!" I followed up with.

White light shot out of Rattata's rear, propelling him forward like a rocket. Zubat just managed to beat its wings and throws itself out of the way. And then immediately had to spin back as Poliwhirl's large orange aura covered fist nearly pasted it into one of the walls.

It was trapped though as Poliwhirl wound up with another Mega Punch. Before it could connected though, the Zubat opened its mouth wide and unleashed a large hose of bubbling acidic purple liquid.

Poliwhirl threw up his arms and groaned as the attack ploughed into him, pushing him back. I winced as I saw the raw blistering appearing on his blue skin.

I stepped forward, about to rush the bat pokemon and slam it with my flashlight. But before I could, a bright white light erupted from where Rattata flew passed Zubat.

"The hell is that?" I wondered. And then gaped as a rapid large brown form blitzed out of the light, somersaulting through the air. Zubat screeched in pain as a foot glowing with white light smashed into its back and slammed it into the wall.

Following it over, its glowing white foot dug into the blue bat pokemon's back was a large Raticate. It gave Zubat no mercy, pushing off with its glowing food and smashing the poison and flying type deeper into the rocky wall, the large brown rat back flipped backwards to the opposite wall and then used it to bounce back towards Zubat, long rope like tail lighting up with a familiar silver energy.

The Zubat screeched one last time before falling limp as Raticate smashed an Iron Tail straight into its back and shook the entire tunnel from the impact. For a moment I almost shit myself at the thought of being caved in.

As soon as Zubat was confirmed to be down, the large Raticate turned around and jumped through the air towards me, clearing the ten feet between us with ease.

I smiled as I caught the brown fluff ball and ruffled his head, "Look at you, all fully evolved already," I chuckled, he was big, but not heavy at all. Not after all the heavy lifting and gravity training I've went through so far, "And was that Jump Kick I just saw you use?" I remember that old guy Ash battled on the S.S Anne had a Raticate that knew Jump Kick.

"Rata!" Raticate chirped back with a nod, then nuzzling his face against my chest. His voice was so different compared to his old forms. Still high pitched, but deeper, and longer in a way.

"Lemme get a look at you mate." I smiled and lifted him up above me. I whistled. He was way bigger now. A few inches bigger than Pidgeotto now I'd say, and even with me holding him up above me, nearly six feet in the air, his tail still comfortably touched the ground with length to spare.

The big brown rat pokemon beamed and my smile grew wider. "Good job buddy," I praised him before setting him down. I looked over to Poliwhirl who had his arms crossed and stood diligently over Zubat, guarding it in case it woke up and attacked, "You too Poliwhirl, we'll need to get Chansey to fix you up when we get out of here."

"Poli!" Poliwhirl nodded and saluted me then made his way over to us and positioned himself at my side. I clapped him on the shoulder and gave him a smile, which he returned by letting his pupils curve into almost smile like shapes.

..Only in anime worlds man. Eye smiles are actually a fucking thing.

I looked at the downed Zubat and couldn't help but think it was a little monster. Sure it went down pretty easy once it did get caught, but it was a speedy and bold little bastard with some insane attacks. I recognised Mega Drain, Wing Attack, Hypnosis and some kind of poison type attack. And the sheer fact that it managed to get the upper hand against Poliwhirl, no matter how short was fucking amazing considering Poliwhirl has went all Goku under the gravity training. Complete with sensu healing. The Poliwhirl of today can't even be compared to the one I caught a week ago. The only reason he isn't my strongest pokemon is because Pidgeotto and Fearow have both evolved on top of training just as hard as him.

Motherfucking yoink! And by that, I meant I was quick to grab a pokeball from my pocket and plop it atop its downed form. It never even put up a fight since it was unconscious, and moments later, my newly caught pokemon was teleported off to Viridian City.

I turned to my other two pokemon, "Let's go then." I nodded to them and began making my way back out the way we came. Poliwhirl and Raticate followed me and I couldn't help but chuckle when the pokemon we passed on the way in veered well out of our way. The Zubat up top practically pressed themselves upwards and tried to merge with the ceiling.

A minute or so later, we stepped back out into the sunlight and to my surprise, my three other pokemon were back. "Chansey, can you heal up Poliwhirl please?" I called over to her first and gave Poliwhirl a little push towards her.

Chansey looked up from her knitting and smiled. She put down her needles and thread and jumped up, waddling over to Poliwhirl and calling upon the pink energy of her Heal Pulse technique.

"Did you find it?" I asked, turning my attention to my three flyers.

Pidgeotto shrugged and gave a curious look at Raticate following me before shrugging again and sitting down. Fearow merely shook his head in a negative response before casting a look at Beedrill and huffing in annoyance. Beedrill buzzed and stepped forward, arm lances crossed in that cool fashion as always. He nodded his yellow head and then uncrossed his arms and beckoned me to follow him.

"Good." I grinned. "I'll follow you on Fearow once Poliwhirl is all healed up."

Pidgeotto huffed himself, for some weird reason while Fearow shot a smug look Pidgeotto's way.

Five minutes later, there was a massive lump in my throat while Fearow glided through the air, following the buzzing form of Beedrill.

I'm glad to say, that I'm not crying hysterics like a little bitch anymore. I'm twitchy as all fuck and shaky, but I feel much safer on Fearow than I ever did on a roller coaster or plane.

We flew over the river I remember from the anime and I was tempted to go down there and check for pokemon. I mean, I've got two water types, but there might be a Krabby or Shellder or something down in there.

..Granted, I've only got three fucking pokeballs because my fucking goldfish memory sprung up on me again in Pewter City and I forgot to stock up on pokeballs. Fuck I'm a stupid cunt.

I was broken from my thoughts by Beedrill buzzing loudly. Fearow pulled to a stop, flapping his wings to keep us afloat and I saw Beedrill pointing down below us. I followed to where he was pointing and grinned when I saw a small rock plateau in the middle of the forest below us, with the top of it blown open to show a massive greyish blue boulder sitting within it, dozens of pink dots that I could barely make out with how high up we were.

"Take us down Fearow, but don't attack the Clefairy," I ordered. Fearow barked an affirmative and immediately began to slowly descend. Beedrill followed with us and I looked over to him, "I don't know how they'll react, but get ready for a fight, they're all fairy types, so your poison attacks will be good for handling them."

"Zz!" Beedrill nodded simply. Ah, I wish he was a bit more outgoing. He reminds me of Zoro from One Piece man. He only cares about training and sleeping. Man, I need to teach him how to fire flying slashes and shit like in One Piece. Cut a fucking mountain in half like a boss.

We landed in the small cave a few moments later and around us, dozens of Clefaiey, and quite a few Clefable slowed to a stop at what they were doing and watched us wearily. Many of them were holding small shiny blue-grey stones, moon stone shards.

"Hey," I greeted and unstrapped myself from my saddle on Fearow, sliding down to the ground and looking around at the Clefairy, "How are you all?"

They didn't make a sound. Still watching me, not making a move. How awkward. "Sorry for disturbing you guys," I raised my hand and plastered what I hope was a welcoming smile on my face. I mean, they're cute and I don't have any bad intentions for them, so that would help right? "I'd heard rumours about there being Moon Stone around here and a bunch of Clefairy and I was hoping to check things out."

Still no response. Though, I did notice one Clefable, the one closest to me clench its little fingers tight around the moon stone shard it was holding. I held up my hands in surrender, "I'm not gonna force you guys or anything," I promised. If they don't want to go with me, that's fine. I'm not that big one Clefairy anyway, "But I was hoping to get some moon stone if that was fine with you guys."

The Clefable I was looking at looked me over for a moment and then relaxed its grip on its moon stone shard. "..Fable.." it sighed and then nodded. It turned then and lifted its arm and I watched in awe as a blue light blared around its eyes and hand, and then the moon stone shard it was holding and the ones in the hands of six others were encased in similar aura's of blue before they floated into the air and made their way floating over to me.

I held my hands out and the stones were deposited into my palms, nearly overflowing, to the point where I had to cradle them to my chest. "Thanks Clefable!" I beamed at it with a big smile before looking around, "So, any of you want to join me? I don't know much about You guys as a species, I'll admit besides that you're fairy types and the kind of attacks you can learn. But if you're interested, I can promise to make you really strong and you won't have to worry about food."

I looked around, but none seemed too inclined. Clefable itself just shook its head at me and gave me a sad little smile. "Alright, one last attempt then and if you don't want to come, I'll just head out," I shrugged. No skin off my nose to be honest, I'd just like one for that fairy coverage, but honestly there are fairies I like better anyway, "There's a lot of mysteries about Clefairy and space. I know a lot about legendary pokemon, the ones that created this world, and even about the legendary pokemon like Rayquaza, and Deoxys. And even some about Palkia, the pokemon that governs space itself."

I was just winging it, pulling it out of my ass to be honest. But to my surprise, Clefable's eyes positively lit up and it turned to the rest of its kind, "Cley! Cle! Fae fable!" it spoke quickly.

"Clayy!" Many of them cried out, nodding.

They began conversing and I had no idea about what. God I wish I snagged Meowth now. He'd be great at translating this shit.

I looked over at my pokemon, but Fearow just scoffed and shrugged while Beedrill stared on impassively. Fucking try hards and their pride. This is probably what talking to Zoro and Sasuke at the same time would be like.

I guess then Chansey would be the Orihime of my team. Raticate would be maybe the kid Naruto. Poliwhirl, I'm not so sure. The Goku possibly, but his diligence doesn't fit. So, the Tien or Trunks of my team maybe? The fuck did that make Pidgeotto then? Shiftry would probably fill the Piccolo roll from what little I've seen of him.

The Vegeta maybe? He has the whole excessive almost detrimental like pride thing going on, and he's the biggest try hard on my squad.

I was broken from my thoughts when the Clefairry and Clefable all around went silent and to my surprise, the Clefable I had been looking at first and the one that gave me the moon stone shards bounced over to me. Like literal bounced. It jumped and slowly rose up through the air and came down..it was like it was an astronaut jumping across the surface of the moon.

It landed in front of me a moment later, and clasped its small pink hands together and bowed its head to me, "Clefable." it nodded and smiled gently at me, before unclasping its hands and pointing at the pokeballs on my belt.

Huh. Did it want to come then? "You want to be my pokemon?" I asked.

Clefably simply nodded, not letting its gentle smile fall. Instead, it turned to its companions and waved to them all, an action that was returned.

Well alright then, I reached into my pocket and grabbed one of the shrunken pokeballs and enlarged it just in time for Clefable to turn back to me. "Ready?" I asked, raising the ball up.

"Clefae." it nodded. With its confirmation, I tapped the pokeball to its head and it clicked open, sucking it inside. To my surprise. The ball didn't even shake. It just clicked signifying the capture almost instantly, then blipped out of existence and teleported to Viridian City.

Well only two pokeballs left now. Better stock up on more when I get to Cerulean.

"..Well alright then." I shrugged. I smiled at the Clefairy and Clefable in the area and waved at them all, "Thanks for your hospitality guys, I'll treat your buddy well, I promise." I bid them goodbye and walked over to Fearow and hooked myself into the saddle, directing him to take flight.

We left the Clefairy and Clefable behind quickly and I couldn't help but grin, looking down at the moon stones I had clasped in my arms.

...Wait, why the fuck am I carrying these and not putting them in my backpack. Jesus Christ I'm a fucking retard.

_______________

Once we vacated the small cave that Moon Stone was being kept in, I had Fearow take me back to where the stream cutting through the forest was. As soon as I stepped down off of Fearow's back, I immediately secured my new seven moon stones within the bag.

I didn't bother returning Fearow to his pokeball. But I did switch out Beedrill for Poliwhirl. I set my bag down and took a seat on a rock and turned my attention to the water type. "Hey, can you go check out the water?" I asked, "See if there's any decent pokemon in there to catch?"

Poliwhirl nodded and gave me a little saluted, before obeying and turning around, making his way over to the stream and diving in

I already have two water types at this point sure, and I have plans for quite a few more. But, come any league I participate in, and I'll definitely be taking part in at least one that I intend to win, my pokemon will be on record for any trainer to look at in the league database on my trainer page. Before Unova, Ash used to look up his opponents before battling them and seeing what pokemon they had.

The more pokemon I have, the harder it will be for my opponents to make counter teams. On top of that, having a variety of each type isn't a bad thing. Plus, I just love the idea of having a literal near army of super powered monsters to fight for me.

I cast a quick glance at Fearow to see him laying down beside me before pulled my phone from my pocket and started checking out the distance between places I wanted to visit.

Grandpa Canyon wasn't that far off from where I am right now honestly. I could probably reach there two hours from now with Fearow, if not quicker. It's set between Lavender City and Fuschia City, a bit weird considering the anime would have me believe it was after Fuschia City and close to a port area leading to Cinnabar, but well, Ash and his buddies got lost so damn often I couldn't really call bullshit.

Not that I plan on going there for a little bit yet though. Those Fossil mon were strong as fuck, they shook off Pikachu's Thunderbolt with ease, and those ones were terrified of the Aerodactyl even eight on one. There were two of each Kabutops, Kabuto, Omstar and Omanyte if I remember right after all, and they all would have had the type advantage. Yet they yeeted out of there like little bitches the moment Aerodactyl appeared. My team is going to need to get way more swoll to take down those bastards.

I scrolled over to Cinnabar island on the online map, and focused on the small chain of islands around it. There were four that were within distance. One of them had to be the island that Blastoise was on with all the Squirtle and Wartortle, the ones that got put to sleep by Jigglypuff.

That thing would add some serious power to my team. But it wasn't my first target. No, there was somewhere else, much closer that I researched around a lot over the past few days.

I scrolled over the map, close to Vermillion City. The area I scrolled over to was just blank blue, ocean water with no islands in sight, about twenty miles off of the coast of Vermillion's coast. There wasn't anything listed there island wise. I would have missed it totally if it weren't for the little nifty weather checker on my phone. The area I was looking at, was listed as storming.

If I moved even a few paces away, a distance of about five hundred feet in any direction, the storm listing would disappear. For anyone else, it wouldn't even be worth raising an eyebrow at. Something easily overlooked.

But for me? With the knowledge I possess? I know this area has to be where the Dragonite Island is. And it's my first target after I get my badges from Misty's sisters and Surge. Well second after I pop in and wreck Damien's face and take Charmander for myself.

Water Stones get sold at Cerulean City, that was easy to find out from Misty. And so do Prism Scales. I can have a Poliwrath and Milotic within the next day if I want. And I do. So I fucking will. With them, it should be possible for me to get to that island from the water once I get close from flying.

To be sure though, I'm going to see if I can get my hands on one of those compact re-breather things Ash used a ton in the anime. I don't know how much one will cost, hence why I'm dead set on smashing the sisters and then slapping around Surge for badges to get more money.

I was about to scroll over and take a look at the Decalore Islands on the map, when a loud splash of water drew my attention and I looked up just in time for Poliwhirl to land on the ground, dripping water. His arms were held above his head, and between his hands he clutched a..large pink and white fish that was struggling in his grasp.

A freaking Goldeen. "Is that it?" I asked. I was hoping for a Krabby or something.

Poliwhirl nodded once. I sighed and stowed my phone away, "Just toss it back." I told him. Seaking aren't bad, not really, but there's only a few pokemon I'll make an exception for when they're utterly useless outside of water.

Poliwhirl promptly tossed the Goldeen over his head into the water and saluted me. "Well, thanks anyway," I snorted, raising his pokeball and returning him in a beam of red light. I turned to Fearow who sat up at the commotion, and I could swear he had a shit eating grin splitting his long ass beak, "Let's just get a move on." I said.

Fearow snorted, but sat up and presented his back to me, letting me climb up and strap myself into the saddle again. And moments later, butterflies fluttered in my stomach for a brief few seconds as he ascended into the air with me on his back and we made for Cerulean City.
