Zanpakuto (Patreon)

So among other things, I haven't been just idle while in bed over the past week. I've been putting thought into the zanpakuto for systematic Soul and I've narrowed it down to two I like, though if you guys don't like either you can veto them. 

On top of that, I decided to pay for a subscription with NovelAi to generate images to use for my stories. It's not the most accurate, but some of the images are still really, really good. Like, I made this one for Daiki.

And I should mention, I've been working idly on the Anko lemon scene for the next part of Shinobi today off an on and it's halfway done. So with luck, it should be done by tomorrow.

Anyway, moving on to the actual poll.

Shikai Choice 1 - Oversoul: Basically, Daiki when entering shikai, has a second form made of reishi, usually invisible to the naked eye overlapping his body. He can increase the size of it by feeding spiritual energy into it, basically making it able to grow in size and even split apart, for reference he could punch outwards and fire off the giant reishi fist of the second body akin to Nero's Devil Bringer from DMC4. That's not all though, it can act separately from his body, but when together it can help him focus on specific actions he's doing. Like say he fired off a Cero, the overlapping spirit body helping him would double the rate at the speed the Cero is charged etc and even would make it possible to fire off multiple different kido and such at the same time because it would be like two consciousness focusing on a task rather than one. In Bankai, he'd gain more effects based on his soul, like for instance being able to draw things from his inner world...which with hollow powers would be pretty powerful since he could devour the souls of his opponents, and their soul would live on in him as it does for hollows in general. That ability basically combined with his Hollow abilities, can make for an improved version of one of Yamamoto's bankai abilities.

Shikai Choice 2 - Impact Soul: This one is very simple and straightforward, but that doesn't mean it's weak. Actually, it's very powerful. What this shikai ability does, is allow Daiki to duplicate any effect from his spiritual power. So say if he fired off a Cero, he could instantly duplicate the cero to add on to the first cero making it stronger, or fire from a different angle. This is because, while in this shikai, his spiritual power billows out from his body and encompasses an area and he can then make the duplication from anywhere in that area, so if say he had an opponent in the middle of that field and fired a cero, he could instantly recreate the same cero, coming from behind his opponent. This not only works for the likes of an attack, but even support skills like say Flash Step, if he used it with Flash Step to instantly duplicate the effect, he could double his speed and such. For Bankai, the effect would roughly stay the same, but would massively increase in scope, for example, he wouldn't have a limited number of duplications and could duplicate endlessly, the only problem here is the massive spirit power cost because to duplicate an effect he would have to spend the same amount of spiritual energy to duplicate an effect. Incredibly powerful, but incredibly draining to use.
