Less than an hour later found Yarden and Irina within his hotel room. The lights were fully out and the only illumination within the room at all, came from the moon shining down through the window.

The Scottish teen lay on his back within the hotel room bed, one arm crossed under his head and stared up at the ceiling, not a lick of clothing on him. Irina, was in a similar state, the older twin tailed exorcist was as nude as the day she was born, her head resting on his chest and large, soft breasts squished into his side, one of her shapely legs intertwined with his own.

…Yet, despite the situation they were in, there was not a lick of sexual tension at all. Despite having a voluptuous beauty among beauties pressed up against him, absolutely naked, Yarden felt no sexual desire.

He was fully concentrating on sharing his internal energy with her. Devil's as a species, had the unique ability to heal each other and even other races by having skin to skin contact and sharing their magical energy.

It was almost ironic that it could work with angels as well, despite the fact that their holy light energy was absolutely toxic to devil kind.

Despite his impressive strength and abilities, this was actually the only healing option open to Yarden and worked better the less clothing the ones taking part in the healing wore.

Irina, had been utterly listless and dazed ever since they arrived in the hotel room, she hadn't even reacted to the suggestion much at all, just idly agreeing, stripping off the remnants of her battle suit and crawling into the bed and latching on to him when he got in beside her.

It could almost be infuriating, having such a gorgeous girl in bed with him, and not able to enjoy it at all.

…At the very least, her tears had dried up and she was all sobbed out. Now, she just seemed utterly numb, to the point where she didn't even care that she'd gotten into a bed, utterly naked, with a devil she'd only met twice.

It made Yarden's stomach twist and churn with guilt. He'd caused all this, through a selfish desire to have this girl and her partner for their mission all to himself.

The more he actually, properly thought on it with the realisations he'd come to earlier…the more disgusted he became with himself.

He was just as bad as that prick Diadora Astaroth. Really, the only difference between him and that piece of shit, was that he hadn't forced himself on Irina. And the saddest part about it all was, he'd come up with this plan before he even became a devil in the first place!

'Well, you're not wrong, objectively, it was quite the dastardly plan,' Vritra suddenly spoke up in agreement with his thoughts, he'd not heard a lick from the dragon since he'd cut off their connection for a bit to integrate with their 'loot' from Azazel, 'But will you stop your whining? You are not anywhere close to that foolish little devil in wretchedness, the fact you realised your mistake and regret it, shows how different you are from that piece of trash.'

His lips twitched briefly up, before turning right back down into a frown, 'Maybe, but it doesn't change what I did.' he pointed out. He'd completely torn her life right out from under her. Now that she knew, she could never go back to the church, she'd just get excommunicated like Asia, and how Xenovia was canonically.

'Perhaps,' Vritra mused in agreement, 'Then the only route open to you, is to make it up her then is it not? At the very least, you've moved on from thinking of her as a simple female to have to yourself for your own pleasure.'

Well, that was a given wasn't it? She didn't exactly have anywhere left to go, even her family was heavily involved with the church. He was still going to offer her a place in his peerage when he got his evil pieces from Serafall, but even if she refused, he'd make sure she was well taken care of regardless.

'There, see, accept your faults and own your mistakes, don't spend your time wallowing and whining like a little weakling when you could be doing something much more productive.' Vritra lectured approvingly.

'You're right, thanks mate,' Yarden replied gratefully, 'So, changing the subject for now, how did it go?' he asked.

He felt as Vritra literally perked up and glee resonate through their connection, 'Amazing the increase in power in of itself is mindboggling, you cannot feel it yourself without coming in here, but, I have perhaps jumped from the weakest of the Dragon King's, to the strongest,' the black dragon boasted pridefully, 'But, the boons I have gained have not finished there. Through integrating my soul fragments within those Twice Critical Sacred Gears, I have done what I never could before, I have learned how double all my abilities.'

Yarden's eyes widened, '….You can use Boost?!' he spluttered mentally in shock.

'Indeed,' he could practically feel the massive grin on Vritra's face, 'Admittedly, I can only use it once because it is not a natural ability of mine like Ddraig's, but the ability to double my power and abilities even once is a mind boggling feat for me.'

Yarden could definitely imagine that. If Vritra was as strong as he thought now, and with the ability to Boost even once, then, it was highly likely, Vritra was well within the top ten list of the strongest supernatural beings now!

'My thoughts exactly,' Vritra laughed, and Yarden was surprised, he so rarely got to hear him laugh, 'But, the good news itself does not end there.'

…It didn't!?

'Indeed not!' Vritra beamed happily, and it was almost getting a bit weird how happy he was, 'I was able to connect your sacred Gears together to make them a single sacred gear and easier for you to use, and that is not all! I was able to integrate one of the Twice Critical in to the new Sacred Gear as well! Not only can I boost and double my abilities now, but so too can you!'

Holy…shit!

With his Balance Breaker, Grian and now the ability to boost, would he not surely be on the level of a Maou?

'Easily!' Vritra scoffed, 'With your strength and abilities and these new upgrades, I don't doubt you could fell any single one of those old Satan pieces of trash in battle!'

Hell, wouldn't a combined Sacred Gear of Blaze Black Flare, Delete Field, Absorption Line, Shadow Prison and Twice Critical make for a clear Longinus-tier Sacred Gear?

'Undoubtedly,' Vritra affirmed his thoughts, 'If a mere Nemean Lion could create a Longinus, then a Sacred Gear with even my previous self would as well. But now? With how much stronger I've become and Twice Critical? Your Sacred Gear has easily reached the level of a Longinus!'

Huh, well would you look at that. He always knew they'd reach top tier heights, but never so quickly.

'Speaking of your Sacred Gear though, the base form should be little more than a combined form and you merely need to learn how to use Shadow Prison,' Vritra began explaining, 'But, I can feel that your Balance Breaker has went through a massive change, you should find some time to try it out and get a feel for it.'

Hmm, well that definitely made sense. Sacred Gears changed and evolved all the time, but few ever grew so drastically in a short period of time, if any at this point in time.

If it didn't change, he would have actually been surprised, and a little disappointed. His previous Balance Breaker looked little different from a re-skinned Scale Mail, he'd like to branch away from that even if the idea of the Scottish Scale Mail dabbing all over the English and Welsh ones made his chest bubble with desire.

'Oh wait!' a thought occurred to Yarden, 'You said you combined the gears with a single Twice Critical, what about the other four?' he asked.

'Nothing, I'm just keeping hold of them for now,' Vritra gave the equivalent of a mental shrug, 'They lack my fragments to power them now, but the ability to Boost is still readily available within. Anyone with around the same amount of magic power as your average high-class devil should be able to use them freely without too much strain still.'

Huh.

So didn't that mean he basically had four sacred gears that doubled all physical abilities and magical power in his possession and could give them to anyone he desired?

And that wasn't even the end of it, Sacred Gear's inherently boosted their holders potential, letting them reach greater heights of power and strength, at quicker paces.

'Well why do you think I grabbed them all in the first place?' Vritra snorted, 'I could have taken my fragments back and left the actual Sacred Gear's with Azazel after all.'

Yarden couldn't help it, he chuckled, 'Man you're awesome partner!' he praised the black dragon. That was the Scottish way! Take it all and give nothing back! Loot everything not nailed down if given the chance!

"Yarden?" Irina spoke up softly after he chuckled, looking up at him from where her face was laying over his chest, deep hauntingly beautiful violet eyes, dulled with heartache staring straight into his own, "Why did you suddenly laugh?"

"No big reason," he replied, giving her a light smile, "I was just talking to Vritra, the dragon inside my Sacred Gears, or Sacred Gear rather, he was just telling me how they've gotten stronger now since he combined them together for me."

"Oh, okay," Irina nodded lightly against the teens chest and fell silent again. For a few moments at least before she spoke up again, voice barely a whisper, "Hey…Yarden?"

"Yeah?" he replied.

"You didn't seem very surprised about god being….being dead," her voice trembled lightly, "Did you know already?"

"More or less," Yarden nodded, but quickly added, "Though, I don't think he's actually gone."

She blinked slowly, before her eyes widened, "Really!?" she perked up, pushing herself up despite her injuries, and utterly ignoring the way her large breasts jiggled as they hung from her chest, her nipples barely grazing his chest, and he winced at the way her dull eyes light up with barely hidden, pleading hope, "That's right…you were talking about god blessing you the other day by giving you two sacred gears, why would you do that if you thought god was dead?"

Look, Yarden would admit. The loopholes he jumped through to come to the conclusion that God had become one with Scotland, was only possible because he was partially insane.

But, to him, it made sense. Sacred Gears responded to the desires of the user, that was for sure. But, affecting another Sacred Gear from who knows where around the world, in the possession of Azazel, while he was within his own mind?

That was a leap even with the idea that they were both Vritra gears and connected. What made it impossible though, was the soul of a person from an entirely different world, that would need to at least come through the Dimensional Gap to get here.

Vritra, as amazing as he was now, couldn't do shit to the Dimensional Gap, never mind when the dragon king was just awoken and in a berserker rage within his mind.

But, God was well versed in the the area of the Dimensional Gap, after all, he sealed that Trihexa 666 motherfucker in there. God, was also the creator of the Sacred Gear system, so if anyone could remotely control and transport a Sacred Gear currently not in the system, it would be him.

And the clincher was. The second soul, containing Delete Field, only came to him, after he pleaded with Scotland its very self for assistance. Now, that might not mean much, but his very roots, his very blood was connected to the Celtic Pantheon, which was connected to Scotland itself as well, so, it was very possible that Scotland itself could hear his pleas due to that connection.

But, it could not respond to him, if it was not sentient. And even if it was, why or actually how could Scotland do so, if it had no real connection to Sacred Gears and the heavenly pantheon.

Unless it did.

"I can't explain it well," Yarden began, "But, I wasn't born with two sacred gears, the other one came to me through a connection I have with my home country Scotland, but the thing is, even my ancestor, the god of the Sun Belenus, wouldn't effect the Sacred Gear system to make that happen, never mind the other stuff."

"Other stuff?" Irina leaned forward eagerly.

"Stuff a bit too hard to explain," he glossed over the fact that he was made of up two different people, one from a universe where this one was fictional, "There's only one person with the power to make what happened, happen back then, and that's God, and on top of that, I don't feel pain when speaking of him, my having holy power and divine blood wouldn't change that, even angels and fallen angels that were reincarnated as devils still feel the pain from speaking God's name."

"I see, well, no I don't really," Irina's brows furrowed, "Are you saying God is connected to Scotland and your pagan god ancestors?"

"More than that, because I specifically pleaded for help from Scotland itself just as I was about to die," Yarden shook his head, then looked her dead in the eyes, "God was powerful, really powerful, maybe not the most powerful, but easily within the top five by my reckoning, despite how he was weakened when fighting the former Satan's, I can't see him being killed so easily, I think…he's become one with the land of Scotland itself and is possibly recovering his power and will return one day."

Irina stared blankly at him as he finished, processing his words, "..God has become one with Scotland?" she whispered to herself, "…Scotland is a pretty catholic heavy country and there's lots more churches there than average, is it possible God is basking in the belief of the people from Scotland in him to recover?"

"Yeah, that's my thoughts," Yarden nodded, though there was also no way the Celtic Pantheon did not know of it and would allow it to go on, if they didn't agree with it, "And it was around the time God fell, that the Celtic Pantheon, my ancestors cut off contact with the rest of the world and started keeping to themselves."

Irina's eyes widened, "So God has joined the Celtic pantheon?" she gasped, "And that's why you don't suffer speaking his name even as a devil, because he's overlooking what you're doing now due to your connection with that Pantheon and Scotland and approves!"

Yarden blinked. He hadn't actually thought of that himself! He thought it was more just Scotland giving him a bit of lenience, but could it be, God, Scotland himself approved of what he wanted to accomplish?

But, his aims were purely selfish! He wanted to become powerful, he wanted revenge against Cao Cao, brutal, satisfying revenge, he wanted a harem of beautiful amazing girls to himself and he wanted to revive his clan, among other things.
Yet, he knew in the process to accomplish those desires, he had to put an end to all the nonsense that would put this world in danger!

Another thing occurred as well;

"That's pretty much it I think, but I also think God is keeping out of sight specifically for a reason," Yarden spoke up again, gaining Irina's attention, "You won't know it, but soon, the three factions will practically be one, there are peace talks of the Angels, Fallen Angels and Devils to come to a true coexistence and peace between all three, but that could have never happened with God around, he was just too powerful for the other factions not to feel threatened."

"…So he took the chance to remove himself from the situation to promote peace?!" Irina gasped, eyes flying wide in shock, then she blinked as something apparently occurred to her, "But wait, what does this all have to do with you flirting with me and Xenovia the other day and saying Scotland and God would approve?"

He already had an answer to that as well, "I'm the last and heir of the Wallace Clan of Scotland," Yarden replied, "I have to repopulate my clan, and I was attracted to you at first sight."

"Huh," Irina's head tilted to the side and she nodded slowly, "That makes sense as well, if he has blessed you and favoured your plans so far, then of course he'd be happy if you wanted to have the children he planning on you having, with the faction that followed and believed in him in the first place."

'Nooo…No, no no! This…this is stupid!' Vritra groaned, 'Yet…why…why does it all line up so perfectly? Why does it all make such sick, twisted, stupid sense!? Why can I see that convoluted plan loving Yahweh actually coming up with something as nonsensical as all this!'

And that just solidified his confidence in what they were speaking of here. If Vritra, as smart as he was, and as someone who had actually met and known the God of the Bible thought it was truly a possibility, then Yarden knew he was on to something.

"Eh…to be honest, I'm…not really sure how to react to that," Irina coughed, cheeks flushing bright red in the pale moonlight shining into the room, "We've like…only known each other a few days, I don't really know what to think of the idea that God would approve me of having your children."

Despite himself and the situation, Yarden couldn't help but chuckle, feeling a bit happy with the situation now, but mostly because the despair seemed to have left Irina and she'd returned to her perky self.

His eyes slid to her large, round breasts, each nearly as big as his head, yet standing proudly in the face of gravity in spite of that.

Perky indeed.

"Eh…eh Yarden what are you doing!?" Irina suddenly spluttered and he blinked, looking to see her pointing downwards on the bed.

Where a massive tent had formed in the covers over his crotch, sticking up proudly, powerfully, the real true Longinus had finally shown itself now that the heavy atmosphere had dissipated and he could appreciate the naked beauty of the older girl beside him.

"It can't be helped," he shrugged, "Now that the heavy feelings have all been cleared up and you're feeling a bit better, I can't help but notice how amazingly gorgeous you are and what an amazing body, you have."

She scratched her cheek, looking away shyly, "…You really are a terrible flirt, it's no wonder you became a devil, you pervert," Irina pouted, before sighing and laying back down with you, head going onto your chest and breasts squishing into your chest erotically, "You've already seen me naked too, so there's no point covering up."

Chuckling, Yarden reached down and gently ran his hand through her lovely, long chestnut hair, "Don't worry, I won't force you, or rush you or anything like that, you can take your time to get used to it all," he assured her, "We can start off just dating nice and slow for now."

"…Deciding to date after only knowing each other for a few days isn't slow," Irina pointed out, but sighed, "So…does that mean I'm your girlfriend now then?" she asked a moment later, leaning up on his chest a bit.

"I'm all for it if you want." Yarden agreed.

Irina was silent for another moment, "...Can I hold your hand first?" she asked.

"You can hold anything you want on me Irina." he couldn't help but chuckle gently, before bringing the hand on his other side around and holding it out for her to take.

She did just that, the chestnut haired girl swallowing heavily enough that he felt it vibrating slightly on his chest, before Irina shakily slipped one of her hands into his own, slowly interlocking their fingers.

Resisting the urge to tease her for her shyness, Yarden tightened his own grip ever so slightly, locking their fingers together and rubbing the back of her hand with his thumb as he did so.

Irina shivered, staring intensely at where their hands were connected, "….O-okay, I'll be your girlfriend for now, b-but like a trial one first, to like see if we're compatible and stuff!"

Chuckles of amusement erupted from his throat once more, "Like I said, take your time." he replied, while continuing to gently run the fingers of his other hand through her hair.
