Jordinio Version - Surge Plot (Patreon)

Just realised....I brought this up with you guys the other day and didn't actually post it for you guys to ponder on if you'd like it to go that route or not. God I'm a retard.

So the general idea for the mc in Jord Version, his goals as it were had three main things he wanted. Fame/power, money and women. As it is though, he's pretty much all accomplished the goals he set out for already.

Sure he's aiming to take part in the league and all and maybe become a champion, but it isn't something he's specifically focused on.

The general idea would be Surge offering to train him for a little bit, and would spend a week or so with Surge getting basic soldier training and being put through his paces. Mentoring him a little bit. For all the mc's muscular power and knowledge, he's not actually been trained himself beyond some martial arts training when he was younger. And the general training he goes through himself with his pokemon, is basically that of a mega gym bro. He'd pick up the general tactics for training a soldier physically to integrate with the training stuff he already has and a few other things.

I was thinking of doing it so that Surge could pose a simple question to him that would turn his goals upside down.

"Why settle for just being great, when you could be the best?"

He'd admittedly come to that point later on himself granted, but with Surge it gets kickstarted a little quicker.

Doing so means sticking in Kanto a little longer though, where as choosing no means we leave for broader horizons earlier.
